Summary: Exceptional location, well presented and brilliant extra facilities like spa and pool. Food was excellent, room very good quality too. Staff polite and friendly, only minor point is there is not separate area for hotel guests to park so parking peak times when a lot of members using the golf course is difficult

Summary: Great stay. Very good service from all staff. Food could have been a bit better if I’m honest and was slightly overcooked. Not bad enough to put me off returning as it’s a lovely hotel in a nice setting. Showers could be a bit better as well.

Summary: Hotel and staf were lovley. Was busy so a little noisey when people came back to rooms and could hear them talking when in bed. Did have a good night sleep apart from that. Taxies down to town are a little expensive if they are used.

Summary: Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were greeted by friendly staff at both reception and breakfast. Breakfast was great, the best scrambled egg I've had in a long time. Pool and spa facilities gave us that little bit extra.

Summary: Grounds were beautiful as well as common areas of the main hotel, breakfast was excellent, such a wide variety of hot and cold items, something for everyone! Food at bar was a bit overpriced, and they overcooked my chicken sandwich:(, but fish & chips were excellent. We got “upgraded” to St Pierre’s Village to the honeymoon suite, a very odd room with bathroom, sitting area (only a two person sofa) with tv & dining room table on first floor, king bed & tv on second floor up a spiral staircase. A sink on second floor but no toilet. Place has seen better days and bed was stiff, too stiff for my liking. Patio outside had some furniture that hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, so patio was useless. One radiator was broken and stuck on, way too hot, they first sent the bar folks to try and fix it, and after they couldn’t the maintenance guy finally came to take care of it. He knew it was already a problem so I don’t know why it wasn’t fixed before we checked in. The buildings in the village reminded me of army barracks, and as such was a total disconnect vs the old main hotel that was nicely updated and full of charm. I’m frankly surprised Marriott put their name of this hotel given the shorty & tackiness of the village area. Staff was very friendly, but mgmt needs to upgrade the villages to the standard of say the dining rooms. Very disappointed….the pool, hot tub, sauna & steam room was great, except that they rent out the pool for swim lessons for kids, not very relaxing.
