This newly constructed, fabulously decorated, Contemporary Woodland Lodge has 4 King Bedrooms and one Queen. The 150 year-old, hand-hued, reclaimed wooden Carolina mill beams dominate the huge open floor plan. With it's 17 foot ceilings, the Great Hall serves as the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room with a 75" 4K TV over the remote controlled gas fireplace (fall and winter only). Enjoy all of it by setting the mood with your favorite music across the entire house (and the deck) with our accessible Sonos sound system.
We bought and developed this plot, not just to view the lake... but to explore the lake and the wooded beauty and architecture it has to offer. We offer a pontoon boat, at an additional cost, for us and our guests to enjoy and explore it. There are so many sandbars, restaurants, and beautiful coves to ski, wakeboard, and tube in. Enjoy the lake for all it has to offer :)
Our Large Private Beach overlooks the dock and the lake's main channel. Downstairs also showcases a vaulted ceiling open floor plan - with a second Full Kitchen, Dining Table, a Billiards table, a Living Room, and another 75" 4K TV to watch from the sectional and sofa that both have motorized fully-reclining seats that you could melt into.
Two incredible covered decks, with drink rails overlooking the lake. The top deck is equipped with a 4K TV to enjoy outside while grilling or talking over wine in the comfortable and spacious seating area. All TV's (including the all bedroom TV's) are 4K, SmartTV's, with DirectTV boxes.
Being his line of work, my husband spared no expense in outfitting the entire home with State of the Art bathroom technology, touch lighted mirrors, and German-made European fixtures. Experience the latest in high-end bathtub technology with a touch screen to activate several features that are unbelievably effective. - I was a skeptic at first, but this tub is unlike anything you've ever seen. Simply put - it's euphoric.
I had him break it down for me to explain :) The freestanding tub is equipped with:
1) Aromatherapy - Defined as the practice of using essential oils extracted from flower, bark, or leaves to enhance physical and mental well-being
2) Chromatherapy - A scientifically proven technique (not merely a decorative element) using lighting to emit colors that are calibrated at different frequencies, each with a stimulating or soothing therapeutic purpose to directly effect one’s physical and psychological condition yielding vibrations that actually calm, energize, or focus your thoughts.
3) Hydro-Thermal Massage - Powerful air jets strategically located at the base of the tub deliver a therapeutic acupressure-based massage that triggers physiological reactions, reducing tension, relaxing muscles, combating stress and eliminating toxins. the turbine (located under bathroom in the owner's closet to reduce all unnatural noise) only pushes out air - thus eliminating suction and making the bath perfectly safe for children (and bubbles - yay!). About 10-15 minutes after draining the tub, you will hear a loud gust in and under the bathroom for a few seconds... that will be the tub entering the self-cleaning process that engages automatically.
You are welcome to use the garage. Being that the house is newly built and furnished, we do not allow pets and make no exceptions.
We do not allow any parties or gatherings, unless previously discussed and cleared with us in writing.
We don't allow oil-based or deep fat fryers.

Summary: Had a stellar stay over a week with friends, including several young children. Large bedrooms made for comfortable evenings for all families. The sandy beach and protected cove made for relaxing afternoons and easy water entry with enough room for beach games. House was super clean and well stocked, amazing!

Summary: This house is so beautiful it is hard to believe the owners are willing to rent it out! The place was spotless and exactly as advertised, so I don't really have much to add. Sitting on the dock at night looking over the lake was magical, and how many lake houses have a white sand beach?! There was construction going on next door, but it was not obtrusive since the workers seemed to quit at midday, and the house is well insulated for sound. All in all an amazing stay!

Summary: The title tells it all. The "Designer House...." was absolutely THE BEST VRBO house I/we have ever stayed in. When we walked in the door, we were just in awe how beautiful it is. We had 9 of us in town for the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. The house fit our needs from beginning to end. 4 King beds with each couple having their own bathroom! Beautiful open floor plan in the main level family room and kitchen; plenty of seating for meals; abundance of TV's, 2 beautiful decks; beautiful kitchen with all the amenities; responsive, really nice property manager (Carol) who responded to our questions. I could go on and on. We had an outstanding time. I can't wait for the NCAA tournament to return to Charlotte so we can rent this house again. Thanks to the owner, Nancy, and the property manager, Carol for the forethought and obvious planning that went into this house and and wonderful managing of the property. What a house! Summary: This house was the perfect size for a family vacation. Everyone had their own space including bathrooms, the walkout basement is like having a second home. While we didn’t utilize everything that we could have- the amenities were certainly there if we had wanted to. The lake view and trees were beautiful to look out at and the patios were great for hanging outside. There was plenty enough space for our group of 6 adults and we could have comfortably had more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carol was great to work with.

Summary: The property was phenomenal. We had our entire family stay here including our 8month old granddaughter and it fit us all well! The property manager was amazing; she had timely responses when we needed help locating anything or if we had questions about attractions or restaurants in the area. She helped us rent a boat for the week and connected us with Mark who took everyone wakesurfing. The house is well furnished with lots of space! The view of the lake is beautiful. If we did not want to go to the lake one day we all would sit on the back porch and talk for hours! The people are really friendly. We would come back again. We are grateful for the amazing experience and the ease of it all (:
