The house is located on the outskirts of the historic hamlet Starda (12th century). Century).
The CASA La Quercia is located on a quiet and panoramic position. The large pool (6 x 12 m) is located about 50 meters in a panoramic setting!
Around the house you will find large lawns and a beautiful terrace with garden furniture and garden. The entire facility is clean and well maintained manifests. Summary: We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the house in Starda. We enjoyed a very warm welcome by Francesca, who is the owner of the house and lives nearby. Her selfmade fig cake was excellent! The house is well equipped with everything you need and all the things are in a very good shape. From the terrace you have a beautiful view and during the hot summer days you will definitely enjoy the big swimming pool. The only inconvenience is the location, the house is in the middle of nowhere and it takes a 20 minutes drive by car to the next supermarket. But that's all and when you go to Arezzo or Siena or Firenze it doesn't matter. Again a big thanks to Francesca who gave us excellent hints for beautiful villages and places and also to Assunta. She organizes everything and we highly recommend to go to the nearby Podere L'Aquila where she offers one day a week her excellent selfmade pizza.

Summary: The situation is secluded and delightful. The only sounds were from the birds and the occasional car. The house was spotlessly clean and the lady owner was charming. We loved exploring the nearby hill-top towns and we ate some delicious food. Because the house is quite high there was a welcome breeze. The pool was exceptional.

Summary: In June / July 2016 we spend two wonderful and relaxing weeks at Casa La Quercia. We can highly recommend this house and we will definately be back. It features a beautiful garden and is situated between the olive trees of the family. You have a magnificent view of the surrounding forests and valleys from the house and the terrace. Approximately 50 m from the house is the big swimming pool which is available for the guests. He fits perfectly into the landscape. On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the lovely owner of the property. She showed us around and was courteous contact for questions and gave us good advice during our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful nature and the wonderful silence. As the house is away from the big cities located near the small village of Strada, we had a wonderful night starry sky and hundreds of fireflies at the house. Also our dog enjoyed the holidays and felt comfortable.
