Beautiful, recently renovated house, overlooking rice fields and sea in a non tourist environment. The house is surrounded by a well maintained garden and has two bedrooms, a bathroom and two terraces. One with sea views. The house has a location with a front view of beautiful plants and a vegetable garden where locals cultivated vegetables. At the back you have a view on a rice field and the sea. All room rooms have ceiling fans. The bedrooms also have air conditioning.

Summary: Anom, the driver and house manager, took excellent care of us and Ketut, his wife, kept the house spotless and brought fresh flowers every day. She is also an excellent cook, and one regret is that we didn’t have her cook more often for us. They were terrific. The location in Jasri, with the traffic the way it is now, is double the time that is reported in Google maps. In my opinion it is essential to have a driver. There isn’t much you can walk easily to in Jasri. There is a small resort across the street with good food. The ocean is close but it’s too rough and rocky for swims or pleasant walks. The sound of the ocean waves crashing from the house is quite loud sometimes. The house itself has high ceilings and a spacious feel. We spent most of our time on the lovely veranda. The neighbor supplied us with fresh water spinach which Ketut cooked into a fabulous dish for us. The owner sometimes took up to three days to respond to inquiries, however once we were in touch with Anom, the communication was very timely.

Summary: We were there with our kids, 5 and 7. It was absolutely amazing if you want to see Bali off the tourist track. The property manager, Anom, was great and was our driver for the entire stay. We got to see some of the best parts of Bali.

Summary: We spend 9 days in this nice house near the sea. In fact it was so near the sea that one could hear the breaking waves. Jasri is not your regular Bali resort destination. It is quiet, but near a nice white beach. The home was very good value for money and kept clean every day by the very friendly Ketut, and other affairs, including transport were arranged by her husband Anom. Both did an excellent job. Anon was a great driver, who really brought us to nice places, without being commercial or pushy (we have experienced otherwise in Bali!). He picked us up, brought us to Amed for two days, and brought us to our next destination. He also has good contacts for other arrangements, like home cooking, massage, etc. Although Jasri is not a resort we did experience Bali's culture to the fullest there: there were festivities to worship the Sea god, and there were dances by beautifully dressed local girls. Festivities that were there for the village, not for the tourists.

Summary: This property is in a quiet, relatively secluded area, about 15 min drive from Candidasa. Amenities are simple, but the house is comfortable and well kept. The housekeeper Ketut came in daily and did a good job of maintaining the place. We also hired her to cook breakfast on two mornings, which was extremely economical. The driver Anom was terrific. In addition to airport transfers, we hired him daily for sightseeing. He's knowledgeable about the island, speaks pretty good English and was very pleaseant. If you are seeking basic accomodation away from the crowds, I can definitely recommend this rental as very good value for the price.
