Our home is a paradise for families and multi-family vacations. We have a pool, trampoline, enclosed grassy yard, play/toy room, and much more!
We have five bedrooms (one of which is a playroom FULL of toys) and three full bathrooms (three showers, one bathtub - downstairs). The bedrooms are very spacious, as is the living room and kitchen with a very open layout and cathedral ceilings.
In total, there is a king bed, queen bed, three double beds and a bunk bed with a full (bottom) and single bed (top). We also a couch that pulls out into a queen bed and another that opens up to a single bed. We also have multiple inflatable mattresses available (2 queens, double, single) and a pack n' play.
In the backyard, the fenced-in pool (fence can be removed at renter's option) is heated and has a spacious hot tub. There is a heated outdoor shower. The backyard has two large tables for large family gatherings, a serving area with sink/fridge and an outdoor couch and chairs BBQ, and bin full of outdoor toys and pool toys and huge trampoline. The front yard is completely fenced in and has a grassy area with seating and firepit. The living room and kitchen have large doors opening to the front and back yards, for comfortable indoor/outdoor living.
There is a playroom stocked with children's SOOO many toys and games, for all ages -- including a play kitchen and play house. We've had families stay here whose kids don't want to leave the house because they are having so much fun. The house also has tons of books for kids of all ages and reading level. One guest room also has home office if anyone needs to get work done while out of town.
Our house has a laundry room with a high end, high capacity LG washer & dryer (you're free to use these). All kitchen appliances are new - spacious LG fridge with ice/water dispenser, very quiet dishwasher, cooktop, built-in oven and microwave. We have a furnace and air-conditioner, as well as a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. We have cable internet (connected to a desktop computer in the back guest room), and WiFi internet throughout the house. Although we don’t have satellite or cable tv, we do have Smart TVs with Netflix, HBO+, Hulu, Disney+, Prime, Youtube, etc.. a DVD player downstairs and Apple TV's.
Our location is really fabulous. The house is 3 miles to the beach in Newport Beach and 15 miles away from Disneyland. Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach are each about 15-20 minutes away. John Wayne Airport is less than 10 minutes away. Los Angeles is about an hour away (depending on traffic) and San Diego is about 1.5 hours away (depending on traffic).
There are several nearby playgrounds, including Lindberg Park, which is about an 8-10 minute walk away.
17th Street and all of its great food is roughly 5 minutes away, and we have several nice restaurants within walking distance -- including a great coffee place (with breakfast) and grocery store just a few minutes walk away. Famous South Coast Plaza shopping mall is 5-8 minutes from our house, and Newport Beach's Fashion Island is 10 minutes out. The Back Bay hiking trails and kayaking/paddle boarding are about 5 minutes away. Balboa Island is roughly 10 minutes away. There are too many easily available activities to list them all, but there's a little of everything in the area. Even the mountains and desert are less than 2 hours away!
We love to travel, especially to visit our family on the east coast. This is our primary home where we raise our family, and we only rent out our main house to families while we are on vacation ourselves, and we only rent out our main house on VRBO. We love helping families have a great vacation in our home when we are away enjoying our own family vacation!

Summary: This was our SECOND time staying at this property...we come to CA each year, and consistently find a new home every year. I hope to continue renting this house indefinitely. It perfectly suits my father, my wife and I, and our 3 young children. Great location, great house (w/pool and spa), plenty of room, and the family that owns the place is very attentive to any communications or needs...they simply go out of their way to make sure the stay is perfect, which it certainly was again.

Summary: We loved our stay, traveling with four kids and nanny. Plenty of room and our 10 year old and 4 year old spent hours on the trampoline. It was really nice to have the access to the pool toys for the kids - they were endlessly occupied (my son wanted to leave Disney to go back to the house). I didn't know what to think of location before we got there but walked daily to the local coffee shop, grocery store was a few minutes away, and then a great strip of restaurants and shops was 5 minutes away. Freeway accessibility was nice as we were traveling to a couple of places around Newport. Owners were very accommodating!

Summary: We come out to southern Cali every year to visit family. Every year we have rented a different home. We hope to stop searching in the future, and to rent this home each year moving forward. We have 3 young children, and they loved the playroom, bunk beds, pool and spa. Its only 3 miles to newport pier, right down the street from the OC fairgrounds, and only took 25 min to get to Knotts Berry. Great location. The owners are a family similar to ours, and were quite friendly and helpful when we needed to add 3 additional days to our vacation last minute...they accommodated it quickly.

Summary: If you are a family with children looking for a wonderful Costa Mesa home in which to spend your vacation time, we would highly recommend this rental. Three generations of our family recently stayed here for over a week. The hosts of this home were very accessible and helpful. They offered details of the rental property in preparation for our stay, as well as in written literature in the home, and provided us with their helpful recommendations for activities and the availability of local services. The house is very comfortable and especially welcoming for children with loads of toys and activities for them, including the backyard swimming pool. The hosts were generous with the availability of beach and swimming supplies. Plenty of room for cooking and dining either inside or outside, and for sleeping arrangements. Great location for the beach and accessing tourist attractions. You'll enjoy your stay!

Summary: The house was beautiful, and very roomy, accommodated our entire family of 1, was able to cook and eat and relax and enjoy our family time in the pool and hot tub which was awesome The house location was perfectly located, close to all the attractions we planned Owners checked in with us to ensure we had what we needed and that everything was great for our time there. Summary: Our family of 6 had plenty of space. The house was very clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing and we spent most of our days there. The location is great…close to the freeway and about 10 minutes to beach. The owners were helpful and responsive. We had never rented a house that was the actual home of the renters. It added a little stress to have their stuff around and trying to keep our kids out of everything. That is one thing to keep in mind when renting this house.

Summary: Our family gathered here for Thanksgiving and we loved everything about this house. The pool and hot tub worked perfectly and there are pool toys for everyone. The playroom was amazing, keeping our grandchildren happy for hours. The home was immaculate and looked exactly as described. Large rooms, big kitchen, quiet neighborhood with private backyard. The owner was wonderfully clear with instructions and available for questions. This is the best vrbo we've ever stayed at and we WILL be back!

Summary: The owners were in communication every step of the way, and couldn't have been nicer hosts. Our children are the same age as theirs, which made all the fun activities, toys and floor plan of the home perfect for us. The pool is clean, brand new and wonderful! Even during Covid, in the middle of Summer, the owners made sure things were very clean when we arrived. We had no issue with Covid or sickness whatsoever. If we ever decided to stay in the Costa Mesa neighborhood again, we'd have no hesitation in returning to their cozy home.

Summary: This home was in a great location and perfect for families with children. This house is set up with everything you could need - baby monitors, nightlights, toys, thousand of children's books, kids' plates/cups/utensils, and comfortable furniture and beds. We felt right at home staying here and our children did not want to leave the amazing playroom! We would definitely come back here!

Summary: My kids (13, 10, 7) and I had the BEST time on our vacation in Orange Country this year, thanks in large part to the perfect accommodations. From the very beginning, Jennifer communicated with me and made me and my family feel like welcome guests. She was accessible throughout the trip if I had any questions. The house gave us so much room to spread out and be comfortable as a family; plenty of beds, lots of yard space and a place to eat outdoors, a beautiful kitchen that allowed us to have other family members over for meals instead of eating out every night. The location was perfect - easy access to freeways and only a 10/15 min drive to Newport Pier. Anything you needed was a mile or two away, but it's a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We will definitely be reaching out to Jennifer again to stay in this beautiful home.
