Positive: The property was clean and had a good mosquito net to cover the bed.

Negative: This place does NOT look like the photos. The “Deluxe” room was extremely basic: no AC (it was installed but the remote had been removed), a very small balcony with no view, no toiletries, no hairdryer, and a door lock that didn’t work properly and could easily be forced open. It might be acceptable as a budget guesthouse, but the pictures are very misleading, and we would have appreciated a more realistic representation so we knew what to expect. We also found the tuk-tuk situation to be awful, with drivers heavily overcharging. We ended up shortening our 7-night stay to just one night and moved to another location where we feel much safer and more comfortable (and we rented a bike so we don’t have to give money to the tuk-tuk “mafia”).

Positive: Had an amazing one-night stay! The location is a surfer's dream—just a short walk to Coconuts, one of the best surf spots in Sri Lanka, and close to Weligama and Ahangama. Perfect for catching waves and then relaxing. The guesthouse itself was cozy, and the breakfast was a real treat—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. If you're looking to surf and enjoy a chilled vibe, this spot is unbeatable. Wish I could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the local surf scene

Positive: Large rooftop terrace.

Negative: Dirty bathroom. Lock to the room is broken. When door locked I couldn’t open it. We asked the staff, and one person went in through the bathroom window via scaffolding which was already there implying that this wasn’t the first time. Curtains on the windows are pointless as they leave a gap allowing the sunrise to wake you up regardless if you want it or not. WiFi is terrible. The telescope on the pictures looks attractive, but in reality this is a damaged telescope (what a surprise, if every gear has access to it). Nevertheless staff asked us not to keep it in room during rains (better to discard it already).
