Positive: This is the great place to stay. First of all, here all that you need: 2 rooms, kitchen, washmashine. Beach is only in 200 meters, so you walked by foot to it around 2 minutes. Very silent at night. And especially I should thanks the owner. His kindness and hospitality are incredible. He solved our unexpected problems, helps with bikes rent and also gave us very delicious pancake. If you wanna stay at Weligamma this place should be the only choice!

Positive: Nice two bedroom appartment with an incredibly helpful owner. Great to have a washing machine and a big fridge. Great location as we visited 3 other beaches by tuk tuk for between 500-1000 rupees depending on the distance. Bank of Ceylon ATM which didn’t charge me 2 minutes away. Western breakfast place very close towards town and nice more traditional restaurants going away from town.
Negative: There’s a bit of road noise at the front but you can’t hear it in the sitting room

Positive: Firstly, absolutely everything! About the space: large, comfortable apartment with outdoor and indoor seating areas, little kitchen and washing machine and ironing functions. A bigger and nicer space than hotels ten times the price. Air conditioning in both rooms worked great as well as fans everywhere. About the host: he will do anything for you and clearly is passionate about hosting people. We felt more like visiting family members than paying guests.he even made us breakfast and dinner just as a treat (and they were delicious). Super polite and helpful. I wish more people were like this.
Negative: The beds were a little short for my long legs (but I still slept fine!)

Positive: We a friend group of 4 booked this place. The owner was very kind and even made us some snacks. The place was great, it had a huge terrace, perfect to chill and you could also do your own laundry. If you also want to have an excellent experience in Weligama, i would definitely recomend this stay. Just great
