Summary: Our stay at Sweet Thyme cottage was wonderful! We were there in late October, and greatly enjoyed the sunshine that flooded the front of the cottage, providing warmth and lots of light for reading. We used the Jøtul propane heater on chilly mornings and it was quite adequate. The cottage is very clean, thoughtfully decorated and arranged, and supplied with everything necessary for a cozy and orderly visit. From the living room, we could monitor the progress of the tides, and determine which wind directions caused the crashing waves on the rocks below. Because of the view, we would have enjoyed our stay even if it had been raining! We also had an enjoyable time meeting and talking with Marilyn which was another highlight of our stay at Sweet Thyme.

Summary: Suite Thyme Carriage House is a true gem. We discovered this spectacular place more than 10 years ago. It’s still our favorite place to visit. We keep coming back to enjoy the view, the scent of the ocean and the tranquil surroundings. It’s very comfy and always spotless. Just far enough to explore many great treasures that the area has to offer. You will see why we keep coming back after you make the turn into the driveway……it’s the view, the gorgeous ocean view.

Summary: Suite Thyme is so much better than we expected. We frequently rent vacation homes and this one is simply the cleanest, most well stocked place we have ever rented. We especially enjoyed our visit with Marilyn, the owner. She gave so much care to making sure we felt welcome. The location can't be beat for wonderful views and in close proximity to so many places to explore....lighthouses, historic downtown shopping areas and fishing villages. We would definitely rent Suite Thyme again.

Summary: Thankfully, great memories are priceless and require no space in a suitcase because we took many home. The location of this home is nothing short of fantastic with a great view of the ocean. Whether you choose to sit on your balcony, the Adirondack chairs perfectly positioned on the lawn looking out at the horizon, or on the nearby rocks with ocean waves gently lapping at your feet. We were first-timers, soon-to-be second timers!

Summary: I've taken several vacations along the coast of Maine and so far this area is my favorite. The location of the carriage house is perfect with the rocky shoreline outside your door. This is a quiet, relaxing spot with many things to do within a short walk or a short drive right on the peninsula. Theres easy access to a well stocked market, gas station, bank and of course an ice cream shop. The carriage house was comfortable and its owners were lovely! I would consider returning if the occasion arose.

Summary: Suite Thyme is just perfect. Everything about it is wonderful, and the hosts Marilyn and John couldn’t be nicer. Do not hesitate to rent this property if you’re looking for a quiet hideaway on the ocean. We will definitely be back next year. Can’t wait!

Summary: We had a great time. The cottage was clean and cozy. The owners were awesome gave us great information on things in the area to do during our visit. We loved sitting on the rocks watching the sunrise,fishing boats and seals. If we return to the area we would definitely return to Suite Thyme.
