Positive: Nice secluded location, cozy, clean and well appointed cabin, very close to Stratton. Very attentive hosts - they were in frequent communication to assure that all was well
Negative: Would have liked a washer/dryer - but knew that going in. Confusing tv (I’m not familiar with Apple TV), and most stations needed subscriptions. Though I never contacted host for assistance.
Summary: Great place. Was perfect for a couple of days on the slopes

Positive: Nicely secluded property. You could see a few houses if you looked hard through the trees but you have privacy. The deck was huge and well kept except for the hot tub. The seating around the picnic table is chunks of wood and the bench around the fire pit on the deck is made from logs cut in half. There are 2 lounge chairs as well so if you need softer seating I would suggest bringing your own. There was a perfect amount of space for a couple to just relax. Kitchen was fairly well stocked for what you would need, I would just suggest plastic cups for use on the deck. There were a lot of nice little touches you don't always see. Inside the door was a s'mores kit and dog treats. For those of you looking for a totally modern up to date house this is not it but it is not a run down shack. Most of the house was fairly updated except for the bathroom which was slightly dated. There are power chargers in a few spots but most likely you will not need them if you are coming here to relax. I would of given it a 10 if the grass was cut and the hot tub was clean. We did enjoy our stay.
Negative: Grass had not been cut in weeks, host said it was because of heavy rains and the landscape company was behind. We did not see one other property anywhere in our drives that was even close to this tall of grass. The host could of come cut the grass himself. We were looking forward to playing volleyball and some yard games but could not go onto the grass because of all the bees and fear of ticks. The grass was at least 10inches high. The hot tub was not clean when we arrived. You could not see the first step even and there seemed to be a slight scum layer on top. I ran it a few times to try to get the chemicals to do their job and by the next day it did clear up very slightly so we could see the first step. After our stay the host told me they don't use chlorine but use bromine. It does not matter what chemical you use, you should be able to see down into the water when it is not running. I have worked with commercial pool/hot tubs for many years. These were are 2 major issues with the property. We booked the property based on the seclusion, hot tub and the yard.
