Positive: Great location to Stratton ski area. Very clean and had all the necessary things to enjoy a stay.
Negative: Code did not work upon arrival and spent a while entering other codes. Was never informed the next day that the code changed to the original code provided. Recommend providing a backup way to get into house - e.g. lockbox with spare key. since there is no cell service outside the front door - this info should be provided when given the front door code. I was unable to contact Vacasa (no cell service) while I was having difficulties with the code provided.

Positive: The location is on a road that can be busy at times, however, it feels like you are in the woods, especially in the back of the cabin. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and well appointed with plenty of kitchen gear, and some basics like olive oil salt pepper etc. The location is about 15-20 minutes from a grocery store, restaurants etc. I found some great hikes nearby, and the area is beautiful with lots of opportunities to explore.
Negative: When I arrived the key code did not work. I attempted to call Vacasa but this property is not within the Verizon cell zone. Fortunately, I was able to get on the wifi network from outside the home and cal;l. After reaching a customer service agent, I was guided through multiple tries on multiple lock boxes, to eventually find the key and get in. Although the home stayed pretty cool during some warm weather, It is unfortunate that you can not open the windows! All of the big windows have indoor storm windows inserted, it would have been great to feel the breeze at night!
Summary: Overal I had a nice stay, the cabin is peaceful and quiet and I would consider staying here again.

Positive: This cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy with character and charm. The fire pit was also a nice feature.
Negative: We enjoyed everything about the cabin, but an outside light in the back of the cabin would be a great addition for the future.
Summary: This cabin was a great home base for our family motorcycle trip. We enjoyed the beautiful rolling hills of southern Verm
