Positive: Great location closer to the mountains but easy access to the city, has a pool, hot water for winter stays, inside free parking. Alonzo is a great host and very pleasing to deal with him.
Negative: The property is off the main road, but fairly quiet most of the time

Positive: I loved that the property was clean and well kept. The host Alonso was extremely helpful. I felt very safe and the bed was so comfortable. I loved it so much I extended my stay. 🤩
Negative: There was nothing I disliked about the property. The only negative about the area is, there are not many places to eat and Uber eats doesn’t work in this area. However, the host Alonso was super helpful and sent me some local eateries that delivered to the property.
Summary: 5 ⭐️ Highly recommend

Positive: Alonso and Jessica were terrific hosts. Hard working, friendly and helpful people. They helped my friend and I arrange for excursions. We went into Sarchi town for a historical tour and found it is a real gem. I was in awe of the master craftsmanship and historical heritage I learned about. They took us to the farmers market while they went to town and enhance our stay so much. The Dream catcher room and bathing facilities were clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The open air kitchen was nice to cook on. Coffee was provided and delicious. It was private, 45 mins to airport and reasonably quiet. The road out of the place has bus service you can use. Also at certain hours one can walk a long distance to get a hike in.
Negative: The knives in the kitchen needed shatpening. Mid day to afternoon the outdoor kitchen is often filled with bright sun. Relaxing on tge bed is one option. Outdoor lawn chairs to recline in the shaded section of the yard would be nice. As you can see there is hardly anything I could find not to like.
Summary: Sarchi is a must see

Positive: Our plan kept on changing, so did our arrival time and the host was really flexible. He gave me great advice when I needed to go grab my friend at the airport (40 min ride with traffic so completely feasible!) The house is very clean, big and comfortable. The bonus was the King bed! We loved our stay there and definitely recommend it.
