Summary: We had such a relaxing time! The property is exactly as pictured—absolutely gorgeous, right on the beach, and the perfect setting to unwind. The only area that could use improvement is staff attentiveness. It often felt like if something wasn’t directly within someone’s responsibilities, it was simply ignored. For instance, each time we were seated at a table, the staff would seem unsure about who should bring over high chairs. We were left standing with our one-year-old twins in our arms while they debated whose job it was, rather than stepping in to help. We truly had a phenomenal stay, but moments like that were disappointing. Had we known where the high chairs were, we would’ve gladly grabbed them ourselves. Similarly, housekeeping would clean the room but leave room service dishes in the hallway all day, attracting flies—small details that pointed to a lack of teamwork. Still, the beauty and atmosphere of the place made it a wonderful escape overall.

Summary: The grounds are beautiful. Other than that it was very disappointing. Food was not very good and limited. The service was not good as well. Housekeeping came 2x on their own otherwise you had to call to and ask. Overall I would not go back. The westin is way better

Summary: The check-in process was a breeze. The hotel grounds were well maintained, but the room was just average. The only bummer was that our balcony needed to be cleaned as it was crawling with bugs and insects. There are only two bars on the resort: the main bar and the pool bar. The pool bar closes at 6 pm, and the main bar closes at 11 pm. The service at the main bar was great thanks to Jorge but trying to get a drink at the pool bar was frustrating. After 10 pm, there’s no entertainment, so you will definitely have to leave the resort if you want entertainment or to party. This resort was about 20 minutes from Casa Viejo. Ubers was super affordable to get into the city. The food was a total letdown. There are only four restaurants, and the Italian restaurant was the only decent one. We had to leave the resort multiple times to get food. Oh yea, don’t even think about going to the Oceans Seafood Restaurant. The food was terrible. Worst food restaurant on the resort. The only saving grace was the room service, which was pretty decent and probably better than some of the restaurants. It took about 40 minutes after ordering. I would say overall, I had high expectations for this dreams resort since I’ve stayed at Dreams resorts in the past. In my opinion, I wouldn’t recommend you stay at this property. The money you spend to stay here is definitely not worth it.

Summary: Food quality was not great. Need more food options. The dessert options are horrible... the resort needs their own bakery... they need to cook/prepare their own desserts and breads/cakes/pies. The box cakes they currently serve are aweful. The staff was excellent !!!
