Summary: The location is what makes up for the little not so great things such as the property itself is a bit old and while they did clean the bathroom it was still a bit moldy. It was good to get beach chairs from the hotel though they can’t provide umbrellas. They had free fresh coffee in the lobby.

Summary: Room was good-sized, but sparsely appointed. Extra sink was a plus, but bathroom was a little small and could have used more shelves. Three flights of stairs with no elevator was a challenge.

Summary: They do not follow the rules about pets… I requested upstairs away from the pets…we had a room right next to a pet the barked for 3 hours at night. Stayed 5 days 3 out of the 5 I had to go and search for clean towels garbage was not removed from room. Chairs for the beach were limited or you get a broken one. On a positive note the room was clean. Do not book through hotel.com I paid $50 additional a night… lesson learn make sure you book directly through the Sands.

Summary: First, adjust your expectations. This is a beach motel, not the Ritz Carlton.You'll get a clean exterior entrance room, an option for an upper floor balcony to watch the surf and a place to lay your head after you come back from doing what you're there for...which shouldn't be lounging in a plush hotel. It's the beach. The staff is friendly, the desk is staffed 24/7, they have coffee in the morning and will even give you towels to use on the beach. The only thing that wasn' ok was booking through Hotels.com. They charged an additional $55 per night compared to booking directly with the property, and then refused to honor their price guarantee when called on it. There is no value added here.

Summary: The location was great- near many things, even walking distance . Beach front was great-especially having a balcony facing the ocean- highly reccommend. Room was a nice size, roomy with a little mini kitchen (sink, micro. and mini fridge) . Hotel gives beach towels & nice beach chairs, and beach badges! very nice. Wall AC was a bit noisy however, and beds are very firm. not the most comfortable unfortunately. But overall a good place for a couple days at the beach!

Summary: Well located on the island. Close to bars and restaurants. We had an ocean front room, and the view was excellent. The room was a good size. Bed was clean and comfy. The only thing that could be better is and earlier check in. 4 in the afternoon is kind of late. Though if you go to the office to pre check in they will let you park in the lot and give you badges so you can go to the beach
