Positive: Very nice, spacious, traditional Cypriot house - with a garden. Located near the street but in a very quiet, small village. Ideal base for trips to the coast (including Paphos, the Baths of Aphrodite, and the Awakas Gorge). In this place you can feel at home. Our stay occurred in the winter (temperatures at night around 8-10 °C, during the day around 20 °C, which is why we had to heat the apartment - the owner provided several electric heaters, which after a few hours gave a pleasant temperature inside house.
Negative: One of the air conditioning remotes and a small things in the bathroom (water leaking under the sink) need fixing. But these are minor issues that do not affect the overall high rating - especially in the context of the rental price.
Summary: Feel at home - but in Cyprus!

Positive: The location is very good: on the hills in Droushia village at an altitude of around 600 m with dry and cooler weather (in summer), not far from the beautiful beaches of Baths of Aphrodite, Pomos and Latchi. The renovated village house: spacious, comfortable and well equiped. Beautiful and peaceful garden to barbecue and dine in the evenings. Generous host: offered local freshly made goat cheese from a neighbour that produces great goat cheeses. Recommended!
Negative: Not much.

Positive: It’s very cosy place to stay. The house is located in the village, from where you can walk to picturesque places. If you are by car, parking is provided. Inside is very clean and comfortable.
Negative: It is rather cold in the house in winter, but there are heating air conditioners in the bedrooms, as well as a fireplace in the living room. For us it was not a big problem, but the skill to kindle a fire may be needed.

Positive: It was a pleasure to stay in the Droushia Corner House. It’s a traditional house with stone floors and walls, a fireplace, a large kitchen/dining room and a garden with many fruit trees (fig, apple, peach, lime, mandarine). Fresh fruit from a tree added to the whole experience of living in a Cypriote village. There are a few taverns and a grocery store within a walking distance. The house owner and his local manager were very helpful in meeting any of our additional needs.
