Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at the Duck House. Being a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite special to be able to stay here. The exterior grounds were a bit disappointing. They need to be more properly manicured. Especially when compared to the neighbors' homes on either side. The plants and trees were not properly maintained. There was quite a bit of overgrowth and weeds. It takes away from the beauty of the house. The house itself is beautiful! Comfortable beds, and quiet! We will stay again!

Summary: Hallo, wir sind hier natürlich wegen der "Freddie" - Vergangenheit gewesen. Es ist fantastisch, am See gelegen und bietet die gewünschte Ruhe. Dennoch hatten wir den Eindruck, dass insbesondere die Hygiene und die vielen Reste von vergangenen Besuchern, insbesondere das "Hinterlassen" von alten Gewürzen es notwendig macht, dem inneren Bereich des Hauses eine Reinigung und Desinfektion zukommen zu lassen. Zumindest bei einem Objekt dieser Dimension. Ansonsten: es ist ein Haus voll Emotionen!

Summary: Traumlage, Objekt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: "Jein". Besonders bei kalten Nächten sind die Fenster nicht dicht (70er Jahre!), Kälte u. Zugluft in Schlaf-u. Badzimmern. Salon sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Hauswart sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Backofen und Geschirrspüler sowie Heizung erneuert. Jedoch: Belastbarkeit Stromnetz entspricht noch den 70er Jahren. Kompletter Stromausfall bei Betätigung von Backofen u. Geschirrspüler. Panorama sehr toll.

Summary: Eine Reise in eine andere Zeit. Man spürt den Geist und die Kreativität von Freddie und auch anderen Künstlern. Top ausgestattet, von Geschirr, Gläsern über Fondue Sets und Gewürzen bis hin zu Kaminholz und iPod. Das Haus, der See und das Grundstück sind einzigartig. Wer jedoch eine Ausstattung auf modernstem Level erwartet, wird dies nicht vorfinden. Aber es gibt alles was man braucht, es ist alles tip top gepflegt und funktionstüchtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Summary: Given the history of this property and its importance to rock fans all over the world it was a privilege to stay in this property in beautiful Montreux. The villa has quality furnishings and finished to high standard, the garden and grounds were a pleasure to relax in. The property would have benefited with access to a suitable size boat.

Summary: Uns hat es sehr gefallen und vorallem auch die Einrichtung. Besonders schätzten wir die Küche die top ausgestattet ist mit Messern die scharf sind, mehreren Tischtüchern zur Auswahl, schönes robustes Geschirr, genug und verschiedene Gläser, einfach alles was es braucht um einen schönen Tisch zu decken für ein festlices Essen. Alles ist geschmackvoll und hat stil im klassischen Sinn. Tausend Dank, wir hoffe es bleibt so und sehr, sehr gerne möchten wir wieder mal kommen.

Summary: Very good organization when handing over the keys. A quiet place away from the big city and wonderful to relax. Especially the garden with direct access to the lake. A paradise with a view of the mountains and the sound of the water.
