Third floor: a charming one bedroom in law suite/apt with another small kitchen, another king size bed, a sofa bed and a decorative fire mantels, decorative porch and a skylight.

Summary: We came to DC for the marathon weekend. Stayed with multiple adult couples. Housing worked out fantastically. Great location. Very convenient and safe. As advertised.

Summary: This was our home base for our DC vacation that coincided with our daughter’s wedding. During a week of blistering 100 degree days, this was an Oasis. The AC was fantastic, the beds super comfortable, the bedding was luxurious. With six big bedrooms and 3 different sitting areas, there was no sense of crowding. We sat 12 for dinner in the dining room. The kitchen amenities allowed for cooking but situated in the middle of a cornucopia of restaurants, we didn’t use the kitchen as much as we thought we would. The two distinct apartments was an unexpected bonus as the night-owls were able to stay up talking and gaming to the wee-hours and the rest of us enjoyed undisturbed peace. We used the metro and the bus for travel and the station was an 18 minute walk, although the bus stop was literally across the street, so once we figured that out, we did less walking. Close proximity to great ice cream (5-6 minutes around the corner) for nightly routines and a variety of restaurants. This place was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Summary: There were no issues obtaining access to the apartment, and once in we had an excellent stay. The house was very clean and conveniently located, within walking distance of great places around the city. We had a family gathering and it was an excellent way to bring everyone together.

Summary: Overall we had a great stay at this property. It's an easy drive (or Uber ride) to all the major DC sites, and it's a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The brownstone was clean and in good condition. It's located on a busy street and after the first night, we decided not to use the front-facing bedroom on the 2nd floor of the main level - the street noise was just too much. The rest of the bedrooms were better, and the two bedrooms in the basement apartment were nice and quiet. The listing says there is one parking space on the property but the alley is too tight to make use of it. We had to go with street parking which was a bit tricky due to street cleaning and permit restrictions. In hindsight, we probably should have skipped the rental car to avoid the parking hassle. But again, overall we had a nice stay and once we got the bedroom situation worked out, we were very happy with the property.
