Summary: This lodge was really great! It’s right on the river and close to the jungle and bat cave. They use the money they earn at the lodge to support Orangutan Haven, a rehabilitation center for injured and abused orangutans.

Summary: I stayed here with my son for an opportunity to visit the jungle and see the wildlife. Amazing hotel, beautiful architecture, lovely rooms, incredible location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic nature tours with knowledgeable and chatty guides.A great experience.

Summary: This place is amazing - stayed here before and after jungle trek. Very beautiful view of river and food was so good and affordable, we never wanted to go off site to eat anywhere else. Wish we couldve stayed longer. Power goes out time to time but never more than 2 mins, all part of the area. So beautiful and relaxing and lots of monkeys around. Wifi only in lounge/restaurant

Summary: Lovely place! Super clean and comfortable with really nice common spaces. Food was okay, nothing special but not bad - really enjoyed breakfast and it’s a good location.

Summary: The Ecolodge is a nice place to stay on the border of the Leuser forest. The food is quite hit and miss; the western food is particularly ropey and really needs changing - we don't all like cheap, sweet white bread and chicken sausages! The rooms are basic but nice with mosquito nets and hot showers. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Summary: Ecolodge was a great Base for our organised jungle hike. Good food and comfortable rooms. Ideally situated next to the river and is a short walk from the parking area.

Summary: Monkey heaven . It’s just on the edge of the forest for jungle trekking but if you’re feeling lazy you can stay at the hotel and watch two types of monkeys in the trees. Food is great and staff are really lovely and friendly. There’s a vast upstairs chill out area for reading and snoozing
