Positive: People were very nice. Room was very clean. Place was a nice little gem in small town Taylorville. Price was fantastic, and the bed was comfortable. Didn't use the shower or fridge or microwave. In town for a wedding and then left early.

Negative: She had just cleaned the room so there was a VERY strong smell of chemicals. Better than a very bad strong smell. Once we returned from the wedding the room was fine. TV was great and I was happy they had Direct TV

Positive: I like the simplicity and comfort. It is homey.

Negative: People in the room next to me were there my whole 4-day stay. Looks as though they live there full time. They had loud kids playing outside my window at 9:00 PM, and the kids were yelling and bouncing off the walls until midnight. Staff could have asked them to be more quiet.

Summary: 29 West was a good name. Economy is a anodyne, bland name..

Positive: We got a great room for a family - it had 3 beds which was amazing. A larger-size room gave more space for our group of 4. Bathroom was in excellent condition and heat/air conditioning was modern and easy to control.
