Summary: This is in a beautiful old home that is well maintained. The manager on duty was friendly and efficient. The house was very quiet and the very comfortable. Our biggest issues were parking...no off street lot and breakfast was served later which may be typical of a b&b. This was our first experience in one.

Summary: Upon arrival the innkeeper showed us around the home and all the room that weren't taken and gave us some history of the house. The room was lovely and quiet. The innkeeper made us a great breakfast the next morning.

Summary: We had a simply lovely stay for our anniversary. The food was delicious and the hospitality was wonderful. Our room was like stepping back in time. The antiques and attention to every detail .

Summary: The Market Street Inn is a gorgeous place to stay. The owners are polite and very accommodating. We were upgraded to the Chimney Room, which has a king sized bed and a wonderful Jacuzzi tub. Everyone at the B&B was extraordinarily friendly. We stood out on the porch with the owners and their friends for a while and just talked. The Market Street Inn really feels like a home!

Summary: Gorgeous Victorian home. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Wonderful service. Favorably reminds me of hotels I have stayed in in England. Next time I am in Taylorville, I will stay here.
