Hot plates and cookware are available upon request. Community BBQ Grills are available for use as well as the community fire-pits. Each Cottage features their own private BBQ Grill and fire-pit with seating for 4. All 1 & 2 bedroom cottages have full kitchenettes which includes a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, stovetop only, cookware, dishes and flatware. Studio cottages do not have a stovetop or cookware, but can be made available upon request. At Eden Village, it’s not just about where you stay — it’s about how you feel while you’re here. Positive: Location was what we needed and having the amount of bed space was fantastic. Also, checking in was a breeze and ac worked well.
Negative: The kitchen was pretty spartan. We only stayed 1 night so no big deal but if it was a week or more we would have had to plan it right.

Positive: The hosts Erin and Liz were awesome and they let me check in as soon as the room was ready as I was beat from the drive up from Freeport ME. and sightseeing around the Acadia National park that day. I got an upgrade to a cottage which was cozy and romantic. Includes a fireplace. The location was perfect, very near the Hill Cove entrance to the park which is the one with a visitor center. Also not far from Bar Harbor or the entrance to Mt Desert Island from mainland Trenton. There is pizza and ice cream nearby around the Town Hill Market, and of course expensive seafood in Summer everywhere! Nice duck pond and cute owners dogs comfy broad wooden outdoor chairs and fire pits for cottages. The place is actually quite lovely so they need better photos than Booking has.
Negative: Nothing... Just do not rely on Google maps here! It sent me on various wild goose chases and service dropped on the way back from Sand Beach, the gorgeous iconic beach. Do not let it put you on local roads but stick to 95 through Bangor Me. I lost 40 minutes when I obeyed Google off the highway and went on a merry-go-round of barn roads and small towns before I backtracked to 95! It also sent me to a wrong entrance to the park. It's ok for finding the hotel and cafes onc e you arrive.

Positive: It was charming and peaceful. After a long day of travel and crowded sightseeing it was great to come home to!! The calming outdoor areas are so inviting.
Negative: I have no complaints. I do have a suggestion!! Shelves in the bathroom for toiletries would be helpful.
Summary: I would stay here again and suggest it to family.

Positive: The room was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a pleasant visit. I’d also like to commend John for being especially accommodating and helpful throughout my stay.
Negative: On one of the mornings, a staff member was mowing the lawn for three consecutive hours, creating a considerable amount of noise and dust. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our plans to enjoy breakfast outdoors. We had just brought out our food and were settling in when the mowing began. Despite clearly seeing that we were about to eat, the staff member proceeded, and we had no choice but to quickly gather everything and return indoors, missing the opportunity for a peaceful outdoor meal. While we understand that property maintenance is necessary, it would be greatly appreciated if such activities could be scheduled more thoughtfully, especially during peak guest hours such as breakfast time. A more guest-conscious approach would certainly enhance the overall hospitality experience.
