Summary: We enjoyed our stay. 2 bedroom cabin is layed out oddly but worked for our stop on the way home. Room had definitely been cleaned but the odor of the cleaning products were a little too strong.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at El Colorado! The owner and staff were attentive, the room was very clean (I walked around in socks and they stayed clean), and the mattress was comfortable. This is a historic property so updating is complicated but they've done well with keeping it nice. I felt safe and there was lots to do nearby. Great coffee across the street. Was sad to leave.

Summary: Manitou Springs has been renovating their older hotels. This place is like living in a lodge. Our little lodge was clean and roomy. A clear view of Pikes Peak. Restaurants nearby. Easy access to highways.

Summary: I love the one-of-a-kind appeal of little places like this one. The cabins are comfortable and quiet. The service from the woman at the front desk was outstanding. My only complaint is the lack of parking. I had trouble finding a place to park to check in, then a huge pickup was blocking the only spot beside my cabin. I went to the desk and the woman there was able to get the owner to move the pickup. I will stay there on future visits!

Summary: This is a quirky little unique place. Kinda cute. Bed was comfortable shower was clean. Neighborhood around kind of sketchy.

Summary: Spacious lodge units with parking near the lodge units. Convenient location for access to businesses and attractions. All conveninet appliances supplied in teh room, but tey ran out of coffee for the coffee maker!

Summary: We were happy to stay in this "rustic" Casita. Plenty of room. Esther, the manager, was a delight. Great location for the area. It has a historic designation. A couple of drawbacks they need to consider 1) room smelled of cigarette smoke. Hope they got the penalty fine. But need to then use it to remediate the smell. 2) If the budget is tight, they should go to Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul to make sure there are adequate kitchen supplies. One set of flatware is not adequate for a self catering place.

Summary: It’s a very unique place to stay. Do not expect a 5 star hotel but that’s what we like. We like private and unique - and a safe place for our dogs where people don’t stick their nose up. Perfect for us

Summary: I enjoyed the little Casita I had because it was a stand alone place with a yard and gazebo and parking along side of it. It had a living room and tiny kitchenette. It was only 5 minutes from work. I will plan to return there next year because it was also affordable.
