Positive: Large space for family to spread out. Games in garage. Massage chair!!! Parking area was good. Nice washer and dryer. Kitchen pans and utensils etc were really good. Night lights were good to have.
Negative: Would have liked a ceiling fan in the dining room. Some windows were unable to be opened due to age/wear. Some screens were taped and torn. Deck had some nails sticking up which were a hazard. Hot tub had a lot of chlorine added which was a bit harsh to the skin. The grill needs to be cleaned out due to excess buildup of grease/droppings on the bottom of it. Ignition switch on grill is broken so needed to use a lighter to light grill. A little dated decor and wallpaper but it was homey/comfortable.

Positive: It was in a good location. Easy to get to. Quiet neighborhood.
Negative: The property is very well used. There are lots of needed upgrades. Beds were very soft and need new mattresses. Pillows too flat. It could have been cleaned better. Master bath was dirty/moldy shower. Some screens were broken. Kitchen light was flickering. Floors needed washing. Rugs not vacuumed. Cooking utensils are old and broken. Not enough wash cloths. No dish cloths. Toaster and one crock pot did not work. Hot tub was too hot and couldn't turn down temp. The whole place just needs some upgrades and a little upkeep and it will be a great place again.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Estes. Vacasa were great hosts. Great location.

Positive: Five friends and I spent four days at Elk Ridge Retreat and had the most wonderful time. We of course went to the Rockies and hiked and the location was very convenient. The home was spotless and oh so comfortable. We spent most of our time out on the back porch enjoying the view, using the hot tub after a day of hiking, and grilling up some steaks for dinner. After a visit to the Stanley Hotel and The Shining Tour we returned that night to snuggle up in the living room to watch the movie and scare ourselves to sleep. This home has everything and if any of us plans anothe trip to Estes Park this is where we'll stay!
