Summary: Good value for the money. I was worried about noise since the hotel is near the airport, but I cannot tell you that it's proximity to planes coming and going really hindered my trip, at all.

Summary: Great staff. Friendly and helpful. The view and the bay is amazing. Walk to the airport No need for cars. Taxis services on the property. The food at the bar excellent. Drinks well made. Room is clean Will stay here every single time I come here.

Summary: The resort needs some upgrading of the property, planters looked sad, while all was clean, needs some care. Also the front desk staff should be more helpful regarding restaurants, how to get around best, and more proactive helping folks!

Summary: Room was clean. There is no elevator and we were put on the 3rd floor for basically an overnight stay. The front desk staff advised us that the shops were open on Sunday but after a taxi ride into town found out they all close early-what a waste of money. The wait staff in the restaurant were not very friendly. Would not recommend this hotel.

Summary: The hotel was good for a couple nights, but I would probably look elsewhere if I were to visit again. The close proximity to the airport is nice as it only requires a short walk, but you will hear planes all day every day flying above, even in your room. Rooms are not ready early so if you fly in before check in, be prepared to leave your luggage in the hallway behind the front desk. Perhaps bring a change of clothes so you can enjoy the beach until your room is ready. The signage at the resort as it relates to the restaurant and bar have old information and the hours are not as late as stated. This goes for the information binders in the room as well. The room was clean overall except for the bathroom, which still had hair on the walls. The onsite restaurant was hit or miss. Like I said, the hours listed were wrong so I almost missed dinner one night but thankfully they let me place a takeout order. It's pretty pricey but you're kind of stuck because there's nothing else around unless you're going to take a taxi. Menus are scarce, the food is inconsistent, and staff is not attentive. I understand it's a cheaper option than others around the island, but when charging over $300 a night, I expect a little better.

Summary: Resort was old and needs work. I love the view of the ocean but staff was not helpful or friendly. Our TV did not work. I heard another customer stating their shower didn't work. Overall the outside of the property needs a makeover. The rooms were not bad. Close to airport but have to taxi everywhere which is 15 mins or more away and taxi charge per person so that became expensive. Would not stay there again.

Summary: Emerald Bay Beach Resort is highlighted by an amazing beach. The resort itself, rooms and grounds would really benefit from a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. We were very thankful that the front desk staff allowed us to check in at 10:30 am. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff on property were just ok. Not very friendly. It is very convenient for flying out the next day as it is right next to the airport. Because of that, it can get very noisy at times. Overall, a good stay, but there were definitely some opportunities missed by the staff that could have made our stay much better.
