Positive: Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Living rooms and decoration were beautiful. Room was conveniently and efficiently cleaned while we had breakfast. Spa treatment was good, but not exceptional. Our room was pretty and quiet with lovely views. Liked the outdoor shower very much.
Negative: Didn't love the open plan bathroom. TV very small because there isn't a wall big enough to accomodate a larger screen. Small matter, but the cane chairs in the dining room have aged and slackened and need better cushions to make them comfortable, or they need to be updated.
Summary: Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was a great base from which to explore the area.

Negative: A magnified mirror would be great in the bathroom to put makeup on when going out for meals. I have old not so good eyesight and couldn't see properly in the bathroom mirror.

Positive: Stayed one night only. Location very easy to find not far out of Dunsborough. Good communication from staff due to very limited reception hours. Large loft room with leafy outlook was comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. Complimentary sparkling wine.
Negative: Window screens missing on some windows so unable to utilise any fresh breezes. Alarms in the complex beeping for a lengthy period at 3.15am and a guest disturbance cursing/fighting outside caused disturbed sleep and as nobody on site to contact after the limited reception hours, nothing attended. Left voicemail on phone at 3.30am when beeping continuing. No acknowledgement from staff that morning. Note this is not really a hotel, more like a guesthouse of sorts, with limited options for food/recreation if not using the spa services.

Positive: The feeling of calm and tranquility the moment we arrived. The silence, other than the breeze and birdsong. A retreat in every sense of the word. Absolute heaven! Breakfast on the deck, overlooking the grounds was a highlight.
Negative: Couldn't fault anything. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Summary: The most relaxing mini-break imaginable. Location, decor, breakfast, staff all exceptional.
