Summary: The house is in a fantastic location--so close and conveniently located near the Stanford campus; also near the fabulous California Street restaurants and awesome Sunday morning farmer’s market, and a great bike rental place. We were very grateful for the free parking. On the other hand, we did not find the house to be super comfortable or welcoming. There is no comfortable seating for a morning cup of coffee. The kitchen is minimally stocked. Overall, it has a very spartan vibe. We had planned to spend our days out and about, so that worked out well, as it wasn’t a place that invited hanging out. With a little more effort, this place could be a real gem.
