The property is conveniently located near the New River Trail State Park, a popular spot for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. For those who enjoy exploring local towns, Pulaski is just a short drive away and features unique shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The very quiet neighborhood has a private road with little traffic and is conveniently located within 6 minutes of Exit 98 of Interstate 81. The house sits directly on Claytor Lake with a dock for your own private access to the water. Only 30 minutes to Virginia Tech and 20 minutes to Radford University, and less than 15 minutes from Claytor Lake State Park. There are many wineries and breweries throughout the area. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, a fall get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat.
All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock is available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat.
The house boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed and breathtaking views of the lake, while the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, perfect for families traveling with children. The third bedroom is furnished with a full-sized bed and the fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, also overlooking the lake. In addition, there is also a comfortable couch in the living room.
The living room is tastefully furnished with comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a cozy fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day spent on the lake. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals and features a dining table that seats up to six guests.
You're less than 10 minutes from I-81. There is a public boat lunch & marina just a few miles away! Parking is available in the driveway of the house.
The dock is just a short walk from the house and can be seen from the deck of the house. You'll just need to walk down the hill to get to it.

Summary: We had a nice time. The home was clean. The water access was nice. The bedroom with the bunk bed did not have lightbulbs in the ceiling fixture and there were not extra bulbs in the utility closet, so we sent our youngest daughter to bed with a cell phone. Additionally, the door in the bedroom stuck since it was hot outside, so we learned quickly not to let her close the door. Overall, the place was lovely. We had a nice time.

Summary: Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably for 2 nights in this lovely property. The dock was fantastic, as we brought our small bass boat. The house is private and tucked on a hill in nice shade trees. It is convenient to town, and also to the stores located on the lake via boat. We would love to come back.

Summary: We had a fantastic weekend with friends here. Close to VT for football game and awesome huge kitchen to hang out in. Kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've seen in vrbo houses! The layout was perfect for our family with kids plus another couple. It was a bit chilly to enjoy the lake, but it was a pretty view. Nice and quiet wooded neighborhood.

Summary: We were here on vacation and although it is off the beaten path (from Christiansburg/Blacksburg) it was worth it!! The cabin itself was cute and cozy with plenty of room for our party of 4. Having the lake and dock (the address is on the dock) would be great in warmer months, it was just too cold for our stay. The scenery on the main road was beautiful for walks. We would recommend this place and would stay again in the future!

Summary: We (3 over 65 ladies) enjoyed staying here mid March. It was quiet, very nicely decorated and very clean. We were visiting relatives in the area and it was very convenient to their homes in Pulaski and Dublin. We felt safe and secure every night. Anything we needed from toiletries to coffee was provided. Would love to come back and stay again. I can only imagine how beautiful it is when all the trees are greened out! I would highly recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have mobility issues. It is on a hill (which is great for the views) but kind of hard if you unsteady. Other than that, it was just what we were looking for!!!

Summary: Very nicely updated/decorated and was the perfect place for my husband, Aussies and I to meet our boys. One in college in south east VA and the other in Knoxville. Everything you could need and more is available! They thought of everything. The ONLY thing that would have made it a little better would have been a chair. A swivel chair would be perfect Between the bathroom and the bedroom doors. 4 people can’t sit comfortably on the sofa. We hope to go back sometime. Thanks for a great weekend!
