Trust us when we say, you will surely fall in love with this quaint pastel cottage that still retains that old Florida charm.
In the slice of heaven that is Anna Maria Island, this personable resort is perfectly situated in the narrow area between Sarasota bay and the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
On your stay you can enjoy the resort’s heated pool lined with royal palms and overlooking the Bay, or take a few steps to reach the white sand beaches. There's a pier that you can fish off of or just sit on and watch the sky hues and wildlife.
Our cottage has a shaded porch and a cozy picnic area perfect for barbecues, nestled under a gazebo covered with tropical foliage.
The inside is decorated in a casual island style, with a light, open-space kitchen and living area with a brand new sofa-bed and chair. The Kitchen and bathroom have just been updated. Driftwood color floors have been laid throughout the cottage. In the bedroom there's a king size bed and a walk-in closet. The living area has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed.
The kitchen is well-equipped with anything you need to cook a great meal in the cottage.
You will have 2 free parking places available to you.
Beach towels and umbrellas are provided at the office and lounge chairs are on the beach for your use as a resort guest.
On the beach near the resort there are jet skis, kayaks and paddle boards available for rent.
Nearby you can find a large variety of excellent restaurants that will please everyone’s taste.
With just a fifteen minute walk or a short ride on the free trolley, you can reach Bridge Street, a charming shopping district where you can enjoy the small shops, boutiques, fresh food and mini golf. The trolley can take you up and down the island to explore different beaches, shops and restaurants.
The position on the south end of the island makes it easy to reach Longboat Key and St. Armand's Circle for out-of-the-ordinary shopping and dining. You can easily get to Sarasota to see The Ringling Museum, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, and the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Summary: The toilet leaked the whole time we were there. I reported it. Maintenance person came quickly to fix it but was unable to. I called the next day and ask about progress but the person I talked to wasn't sure. No one contacted me with any updates the rest of the week. Perhaps that's why the floor in the bathroom also needs to be repaired. Everything else was neat and clean. Living room and eating artupnbe updated.

Summary: This was the best location for a beach vacation. The little village is right across of the beach, which has chairs easily accessible. The front desk provides you with towels as needed & there is a bucket full of beach supplies that you can use. There was no hot water when we got there but the maintenance people right on it & fixed it right away. They allowed us to use another shower while we were waiting. You will be in walking distance of many YUMMY restaurants and shops. Go to The Swordfish for sure. We will definitely be booking again next year.

Summary: Wanted a quick getaway last minute and this place was amazing!Walking distance to several great dining options. The beach access was super close and the pool was nice and heated. Had a great experience with everyone who works in the office. Overall super happy with our stay!

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Adorable cottage! The grounds were well kept. Gorgeous pool overlooking the bay, and beach access was across the street. Beach lounge chairs were available. Staff was super friendly. Owner was informative and provided clear instructions in a timely manner. Would stay again.

Summary: The cottage is very well done, totally updated and very clean. The location is great and the beach is across the street. Beautiful beaches! There is a small community pool to enjoy as well. My only critique is that the couch is old and not comfortable to sleep on... I would recommend they upgrade since everything else has been upgraded. Great stay and place to stay!

Summary: This is a cute cottage in a quiet location but an easy walk to great restaurants and of course, the beach! Walk to a pier for a pretty sunrise view, or across the street for a nice beach sunset (chairs, umbrella and towels are provided). Kitchenette has all the basics, comfortable king bed, lovely pool, 2 TVs (cable), WiFi. Seems like a mostly-adult area although that could have just been the time of year we were there. The hot tub and the end of one pier were evidently hurricane casualties, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this lovely retreat with an outstanding beach. We were very pleased and would happily go back!
