Summary: We had the best time staying here! The home is as exactly as described, but even better! Beautiful home has everything you need for your time away and it is clean and spacious. We loved spending mornings drinking our coffee on the rockers and listening to the water. The New River is just on the other side of the front of the house, we walked right over to fish and play in the water. We went to Virginia Creeper Trail and rode bikes on the 17mile trail. On the way back we stopped and ate at Red Dog-food was delicious, but remember that you are on mountain time and large groups take a bit longer to have your food ready. We spent a day at West Jefferson shopping and eating at Boondocks. We played games around the table, went for lots of walks and saw so many deer, went out at night and the sky was full of lighting bugs! Barbara, thank you for your quick replies and for sharing your wonderful property with us, we will be back!

Summary: Great place to stay with the family. Plenty of space for our crew. LOVED the lower level - pool table, foosball and tons of games for the kids. Close to to public river and do owing The cabin was clean, stocked with linens and kitchen needs.
