Positive: A great village location close to the moors and coast. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, well equipped with good amenities close by and it felt like home from home after a day out exploring. Overall a lovely place to stay.
Negative: Nothing really springs to mind as everything we experienced was good.

Positive: Location was good as could park nearby across the road. Spacious rooms and lovely quality interior. Bedding and household items all very good. Hosts responsive when we needed to contact them. Off main road but easy to walk to village shops.

Positive: We loved the location and the cottage was as expected, the festive welcome pack and Xmas decorations were an added bonus, thank you
Negative: The thermometer of the main oven does not seem to work properly and as we were there over the Christmas period we were cooking a full Christmas dinner which took twice as long as planned. Fortunately we had a turkey crown so we’re able to cook in the small oven and allow to rest whilst cooking the roasties etc, if we had a full turkey we would not have been very happy! Only gave a 7 to cleanliness as there was lots of fluff under the TV unit, settee and fridge/freezer area.
Summary: Any enjoyable stay in a perfect location but disappointed the oven did not work properly.

Positive: Ideal location on the outskirts of Whitby.The Yorkshire moors by your side. Sleights has its own wonderfully butchers and bakery shop and 2 local pubs and on bus route.
Negative: The rear outlook was not pleasant close by, some rough building area .
Summary: We enjoyed our 4 night stay in a lovely part of North Yokshire

Positive: Most of it was good . Garden was handy for the dog. He had enough walks. Good bathroom comfortable beds hot water
Negative: The bottom oven didn’t work so only a small top oven. Could’ve been told by you before. Wasted food.

Positive: The cottage was well presented and comfortable. There is plenty of space for us as a family of 3. The bathroom is large with a bath and a separate shower. Two bedrooms and a large downstairs with lounge and kitchen with a dining table. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, and the welcome basket was an added bonus. On street parking was great and so close to Whitby, there is also a bus stop and train stop nearby.
Negative: We hadn't realised it was pet friendly (it did say on the booking site when I rechecked), but it could be clearly marked in the description as my husband has allergies. Nothing an antihistamine couldn't sort and my own oversight, but just a tip to perhaps add in bold for people like me!!
