Positive: Everything!! It was absolutely amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The scenery and location were perfect. We were able to go right into the beautiful ocean. Esperanza also provided a paddleboard where we paddled to the nearby beach. The restaurant Medusa is walking distance and is very delicious. Thank you Esperanza Boathouses!

Positive: You are on the water. You open the door and you have the sea at your doorstep. Mornings are so peaceful and relaxed. It is like you have found your own space connected to nature. Morning swims and watching the sunrises were the best. Inside the boathouse the decoration and finish is exceptional. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed as we ate out frequently. The hairdryer, iron and ironing board are all there for getting dressed up for special occasions. We found the interior so nice to relax in and shut ourselves away from the world when we wanted. You have the Medusa restaurant directly above you which is amazing. It gets very busy, for a reason. Great views great food and great service. Never flustered your experience is always relaxed and valued. You are an 8 min drive to the popular sunset of Plaka and really a max of 15 mins to anywhere where you may go daily. Our longest drive was 25 minutes to the beach on the other side of the island! It was the best, romantic getaway spot. So happy we found it on our 10th anniversary.

Positive: Esperanza Boathouse is a truly unique and special place to stay. The location is stunning – right on the water, with waves lapping up to the door during a windy April day. It’s small but cozy, perfect for a quiet, private getaway. The boathouse is best enjoyed in the summer months when you can really make the most of the seaside charm. That said, even in April, it was a beautiful experience. The owner is incredibly helpful and kind. While her English is limited, she does her very best to communicate and make you feel welcome. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful spot in an excellent location. A memorable stay!
