"The Cedar"is part of a complex of guest houses situated above Mandrakia fishing village.
The building and its interior decoration respect the rules of Cycladic architecture.The 180' view of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands is stunning.
Guests can use the facilities of the house,relax at its veranda and use the outdoor barbecue and wood stove when the weather allows it.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric cooker and oven,a fridge,a hairdryer,an iron,a coffeemaker,a microwave cooker and 32" TV.
It is ideal for couples or families with one or two children .
I am available to collect guests from the port of Adamas which is 3 km away or airport which is 6 km away from the guesthouse.
The house is regularly taken care of while clean sheets and towels are available every three days.An additional bed or children's beds are available upon request.
The site is very quiet but it is at 10min. walking distance from the nearest village with traditional tavernas that serve delicious meals,supermarkets,a chemist's,the baker's,petrol stations,banks and clothes shops.The Medical Centre of the island is a 5 minute drive from the house.
The complex of the three brand-new fully equipped traditional guest houses, that respects cycladic architecture, stands on the hill just above Mandrakia, a fishing village with the characteristic colourful "Syrmata" - small boat houses on the sea water, where fishing boats used to be kept during winter in past decades.
It is situated between the famous site of Sarakiniko, with the impressive white rocks - an easily recognizable scenery all over the world and the picturesque Fyropotamos seaside village.

Summary: The apartment is exactly like the photos. It’s very clean and it has all the comfort you need. The view will steal your heart. The silence that surrounds the property is unreal. Gina, the owner, has been the perfect host: always available, kind and very discreet.

Summary: Really lovely comfortable accommodation for 2 people, with a great view. Gina was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. There is a very nice seafront restaurant a bit of a schlep down the hill otherwise we needed a car to go anywhere, although we were close to the main sights on the island. Gina recommended a 4 wheel drive, and that was certainly useful, not least in getting to the property itself

Summary: Had a great, short stay at this property. The apartment was small and minimal but beautiful and had everything we needed. Great wifi, ac worked perfect, coffee maker, dishes and pots for cooking, tastefully decorated. Very peaceful view of the ocean and a short 3 minute drive to a lovely fishing village which was perfect for swimming. Gina, our host, was helpful and a delight. Would highly recommend this apartment for visitors to Milos.

Summary: We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Cedar house. From the patio you have an amazing view over the bay towards the neighbour island. On arrival we were met by Ginas father who was always very friendly and helpful however communication was a bit difficult as we don‘t speak Greek. Gina was always quickly available via WhatsApp for any questions and she had also provided very good information on the area in a small brochure. Very good restaurant recommendations and ideas for excursions. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful and calm island with our rental car, all in good reach from the Cedar. The next village up the hill with a few small places to eat and a supermarket can easily be reached on foot within 15 minutes. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the patio is equipped with comfortable deck chairs and a sitting area to have breakfast. On our arrival the fridge was stocked with water, juice, a bottle of wine, butter and jam. Halfway through our stay the house was cleaned and new towels and bed linen were provided. Gina and her family were always very attentive and helpful during our stay. If you want to spend a relaxing vacation in beautiful and quiet surrounded you will love the Cedar.
