Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Fresh white linen. Big comfortable beds for family of 4 with big teen boys. very new bathroom with hot water. Veranda up in the trees was beautiful and relaxing. The hospitality from Lanka and his family was amazing. Tea and snacks on arrival and even on the morning that we departed at 3:30 am for Yala. We told Lanka not to get up, but sure enough he was setting up on the veranda when we woke. Absolutely above and beyond . Breakfast was also delicious and abundant.
Negative: A bit of a walk up hill into town. Easy to get a tuk tuk….Lanka will organise you one. Better than staying in town, it’s quite busy.

Positive: The family is super sweet and welcoming, they really make you feel at home. When we arrived they greeted us with tea, biscuits and sweets, as well as some soup. The room is nice, clean and spacious, and especially the double bed is really comfortable. The rice and curry they served was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Overall, our stay here was really lovely..
Negative: The cottage is near a big road so it can be a bit noisy at times, but we still had a great night's sleep.

Negative: on morning/threw the day bit noisy because of the traffic, but it doesnt bothered us :)

Positive: The hosts were extremely welcoming and very accommodating, helping us to plan our time whilst in Ella and arranging Tuk Tuks for us. The breakfast was cooked and served by the hosts wife and she took great care to provide us with a variety of different specialities from Sri Lanka.

Positive: Wow! Amazing experience, it was the best hotel we’ve been in during our stay of 1 month in Sri Lanka. We stayed at two more hotels in Ella, with more than 9 in Booking, but this one was the best of the three by far. The family that runs the hotel is extremely kind and makes you feel like home.
