Positive: I recently spent 3 blissful nights at Tunnel Top Inn Ella and it was truly a serene escape. Nestled in nature, the property offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, with the sweet sounds of birdsong filling the air. On foggy mornings, the misty veil adds a touch of magic to the landscape. The location is perfect for exploring Ella, with tuk tuk transport to the city and tourist attractions was included in my rates - a huge plus!

Positive: This place is a true gem! Gorgeous room, spotless, incredible views and the best breakfast! Seriously, it will give you all the strength you need for your day hikes. The location is outside of Ella main area which we loved as it can get a bit too busy in there. Lahiru helped us rent a motorcycle and he was always available for a TukTuk lift if we weren’t up for driving ourselves. 10/10!!

Positive: I travelled with my family, and this stay was truly an excellent find. From the moment I made the booking, Lahiru reached out to confirm and stayed in constant contact—checking on our arrival times and even helping us with the best route to get there. The location is exactly as described, just a short walk to the famous Nine Arches Bridge. The property offers two fabulous, well-equipped rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains and passing trains right from the balcony. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you would expect from a high-end hotel. Breakfast was another highlight—starting with fresh fruit platters and followed by a wide variety of delicious options to suit everyone. What really stood out, though, was Lahiru and his family's genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable—even personally driving us to town and back at night in his tuk tuk, refusing to take any payment for it. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay at the hotel. We were greeted with smiles everyday and help on what best places we should visit while in Ella, we were given a superb breakfast every single morning and were always checked on to ensure we were comfortable and if there was anything we needed. The most amazing people here at Tunnel Top Inn & would 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to come here as it exceptional.
Negative: Water pressure in the shower.

Positive: Staff was amazing, and the room was the cleanest we found in Sri lanka. Amazing view and even better breakfast. The road is little bit bumpy but totally worth, definetly recommend!
