The Resort is 2,000 acres and sports three, top-rated golf courses and a forth adjacent to the resort (Oyster Bay). Golf is all-year round, and the beach and pool season runs from April until the end of October.

Seductive Sunset Beach, voted best beach in North Carolina by Duke University, is only a mile from the Resort's southern gate. This barrier island beach is a breathtakingly beautiful, unspoiled community with no buildings taller than three stories. You can enjoy the tranquility of Sunset Beach and, when the mood strikes, explore all the various activities and night life of Myrtle Beach just 15 miles down the road. Interestingly, because the Island actually orients east-west, you are spoiled by gorgeous sunsets on the beach. (Hence the name.)
Area cuisine is virtually unlimited with restaurants overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway only minutes away. Enjoy a beverage or meal at the popular new restaurant, 55 Bistro, just a five-minute walk from the comfort of our condo. Outstanding menu is available for eat-in or take-out. In addition, over 40 excellent restaurants in Sunset Beach and nearby Calabash known as “The Seafood Capital of the World”. Summary: This was our 2nd year in heading to Sunset Beach in the winter and staying at this condo. Such a wonderful, cozy place to stay. It is perfect for 4 girlfriends looking to shop and dine as you cannot beat the location. The owners are very responsive if you need anything at all. The condo is super clean. We loved our stay and hope to be back next winter.

Summary: We truly loved the condo. Roomy, clean, comfortable and very quiet. The golf course was closed so no traffic on the porch side. The pass for the pool was the highlight of our vacation. My grandson and his best friend, both 15, would have lived in the pool the whole week, and almost did. The beach held no interest. Evenings were spend playing games and cards. The washer/dryer at the foyer would so handy for dropping off swimwear each evening. We found using UTube for television awkward. No local channels for news and weather, so we just didn't watch TV, which was a good thing. We will rent this condo again, it was perfect.
