Alicante and Benidorm: Alicante (10 minutes drive away) has beautiful blue flag sandy beaches, a wonderful marina, many places of historical interest including a medieval castle, exclusive shops, restaurants, tapas bars, open-air cafes, clubs, parks and gardens. There is also a charming coastal railway which runs up to Benidorm and Denia stopping at many coastal resorts along the way where you can spend a lovely day on the beach.
In Benidorm (40 minutes drive away) you can visit Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar Animal Park, Sea World and the theme park Terra Mitica.
There are organised trips run to the various theme/water parks during the Summer with pick up points just outside complex.
Regular buses run to Alicante all year around.
Elche: Elche (10 minutes away) has a history going back over 2000 years, contains the largest palm tree plantation in Europe and is now listed as a World Heritage site. History, monuments and culture form a rich combination in its historical centre, offering sites and attractions such as Roman Baths, Castle,Medieval Cathedral and numerous other historical sites.
There are also great shops and pavement cafés/bars in this lovely town and a day is well spent visiting Elche.
There is also a small Safari Park just outside Elche which is worth a visit.

Summary: Right from looking at the property on the website, I was so impressed with the location, the accommodation, the facilities on site and nearby, shops for essentials, pubs, bars, restaurants. With us not having our own transport, the bus stop was nearby to go locally, and bus stops to Alicante and Santa Pola were only a short walk. The bus prices were very reasonable, less than 2 euros per journey. The beaches were nearby also. The property host was very polite and very helpful, and was always only a phone call away. We had a great time, the property was well equipped, plenty of space, and a nice roof terrace. We cannot fault this property, and would dearly love to return in 2025. We found it such an easy relaxing place to stay, well done, very impressed. Thank you once again, Jesu's, fantastic guy, credit where its due.

Summary: We had a great holiday with family in Gran Alacant. The flat was spotless, fully equipped. As we arrived at night, our host bought snacks for us. Everything is close, airport 10 mins by car, beach 13 mins walk. Alicante is about 20 mins by car. Good restaurants and foods just opposite side of the apartment. Enjoyed our stay, and defenitaly we will go back!

Summary: The location is great, near shops, restaurants, bus links, beach etc. The apartment and the complex were lovely and the property owner couldn't have been more helpful. Easy to get to from the airport by taxi. Overall a fantastic place for a quiet holiday.

Summary: The info on this property didn't match reality. Carabassi beach , for us was a good 25minutes walk not 10mins. We are not infirm,and can walk comfortably. Although the storms were exceptionally bad, the front door of property leaked and I had to mop out on a regular basis, over 2days. The transport infrastructure needs a look at I.e. taxis and buses

Summary: Our 4th time in this location, wonderful area. Close to restaurants and bars, use of the pool, tennis court, short walk to beach and GA center. Property was perfect, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living area and roof top. Communication was great between the owner and I. Great stay, highly recommend a visit.
