Summary: We loved staying at the property. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, the linens and beds were very comfortable, and the house was a lovely place to spend my mother-in-law's birthday. The location is close to everything in the area and we would 100% stay again. However, I do want to mention a couple of things that haven't appeared in any of the other reviews: First, the property is quite close to the highway, so sleeping with your window open really isn't possible. Second, cameras are all over the property's exterior, including pointing directly at the hot tub. This was slightly uncomfortable because we wondered who might be watching us have an innocuous soak. I guess I could see a scenario where they're worried about parties or loud hot tub sessions but in that case, maybe put the camera further away?

Summary: The property is lovely, and it is extremely close to downtown Carmel. The interior of the house is very nice, but somewhat dated. The property was very clean, and there were no problems in communicating with the host, or getting into the property. It does not have A/C if you are accustomed to having it. We were there during a very hot time of year, but found it tolerable with all the fans running. Of course, it is much cooler at night. The washer and dryer were not great, but working. We really didn't have time to use some of the amenities, such as the hot tub, or even TV's. The gate was not working so had to be done manually, if you want to use it. The outside lighting was great, and helped with security. It is close to a main road, so traffic woke us up the first morning since we had to open the windows that night. We didn't feel quite as secure with open windows, but that is only a problem if you're there during warmer months of the year. Entrance into the property was super easy and the driveway very nice. Lots of beautiful shrubbery and flowers surround the property. There is also a nice play area for young children.

Summary: This house was perfect for 6 women taking a few days away from our husbands and enjoying the beauty of Carmel and surrounding areas. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was great to cook in and the beds were super comfortable. We would definitely return to this house!
