Haus Vallverde (120 m2) is a spacious modern three bedroom apartment located in a lovely position near the old chapel in Winkelmatten, a tranquil area on the outskirts of Zermatt. Small supermarket, restaurants and local bus stop just a two minute walk, an 8 minute walk to the Matterhorn cable car departure station and a further 3 minutes to the village centre. Hiking / skiing trails on your doorstep. The apartment is on the ground floor and comprises of one twin bedroom and two doubles one with en-suite bathroom, (bath/shower/WC), second bathroom (shower/WC). There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a spacious dining / lounge area, leading to a south facing terrace and garden with spectacular views of the Matterhorn. This apartment is uniquely furnished to a very high standard and is equipped with a plasma television with cable channels (English programmes), DVD, CD/Radio and Internet connection. Summary: We had a fabulous trip to Zermatt. Haus Vallverde apt 1 was a perfect nest for 2 couples. The apartment was well appointed and Stuart met us at the train upon arrival and arranged for a taxi. Proximity to town was good and although the walk home each night was hilly, we enjoyed it especially after such nice food We will definitely use their services in the future.

Summary: The place was well-kept, the property management was great, and we enjoyed our stay. Not everything was particularly intuitive to use, the laundry facilities had some issues, and the location is a little off the beaten path, but we would stay again.

Summary: Outstanding rental! Walk-out patio with daily Matterhorn views was the highlight. Clean, spacious (for 5 people), updated, fully-stocked, modern decor, high-end appliances. Most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Laundry easy & available. Location is ideal - it's a 5 min walk to the free ski bus or a quick walk downhill to the gondola. Town center very easy walk too with incredible views all around. Lesley met us at the train and graciously arranged taxis to the rental for multiple groups. We could not have had a better stay in Zermatt. I highly recommend this rental. And a bonus - we got engaged on our trip! Thank you for creating the perfect setting.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, gave us a good advise about parking/taxi at Tasch, and helped to book the transfer to the property, which was shot and agreeable. The apartment was very nice, clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We even had a welcome platter of fruit, and the selection of tees and coffee. Bedding was nice and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the views of the Matterhorn from the garden. We would come back with pleasure to this property.

Summary: The property was absolutely gorgeous and in pristine condition. The garden and views were astonishing... The owners are extremely accommodating, warm, friendly and welcoming!! We could not have asked for a better holiday!! We're already looking at summer dates to go back!! I would highly recommend this rental!! The location is perfect as it was super peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to walk for shopping or dinner in the town centre... Easily 5 stars!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Summary: We were a family of 5 plus one friend staying in the apartment for a week's skiing. Winkelmatten is a delightful and peaceful area of Zermatt with a regular bus service running past the building from town down towards the lift so very well connected although it is also not far to walk in either direction. The apartment is bright and spacious and very comfortable for a group of six. Lesley and Stuart were most helpful and arranged parking for us in Tasch and then return taxis from Zermatt station area up to Winkelmatten plus organised lift passes. They also dealt with a couple of minor queries very efficiently during the week. I would have no hesitation in recommending Apartment Vallverde and Zermattapartmentrental and hope to return before too long.
