Private Saltwater Pool New in 2024 !
Our 5 bedroom 3.5 bathroom vacation home is in Corolla in the subdivision of Ocean Sands Section 'D' on the outer banks OBX of North Carolina. The home is perfect for your family or multifamily vacation. It is located on open space with southern exposure, approximately 110 yards from the beach access or 150 yards from the beach itself. Because the traffic is much better, we rent from Sunday to Sunday. The beautiful beach is a short walk down an easy path with steps over the dunes. Life guards are on duty from May through September. A grocery store, restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc are a 1/4 mile away. Another grocery store, many more restaurants, shops, farmers plus putt putt, go carts, paddle boats, jet skis, etc
The house has 5 smart TVs with YouTube TV, fast Wi-Fi and lots of board games, puzzles, cards, videos and books. A large well equipped kitchen, Florida room, decks and pool offer something for everyone. For the sports person besides having the ocean steps away and a private saltwater pool with heating option, golf (Currituck Club) is less than 5 minutes away, biking /walking trails are close and tennis/pickleball/basketball is only one block down the street.
**Cleaning and Linens are included. Beds are made prior to your arrival.
**Well behaved dogs (2 max) are welcome with a $150 fee. Pet owner must keep dogs off the beds and furniture and dispose of refuge in the trash bin.
**The pool is available from May 5 - October 20.
**Heat for the pool is $400 per week. If you want the pool heat option, it will be processed directly with the owner. Keep in mind other pool owners have told us the heater will only raise the water temperature about 15 Degrees above the air temperature.

Summary: Our second annual stay in OBX with entire family. This year we were so happy with the house. It made our vacation so awesome. The house was roomy, clean, perfectly located (the path to the beach was steps from us). The new pool was a hit with the little ones (and adults too!). The host is very attentive and it was one of the best appointed kitchen I have had in a rental. We like to cook in a bit and it was like being home!! A lot of personal touches to this property and it did not go unnoticed. Will definitely go back!!!

Summary: We had such a great time and loved the house and accommodations! Glenn was so helpful and the house was so easy to live in (stocked with coffee machine and anything to cook and grill for the week). We loved it, nice quiet neighborhood and the beach access point and private beach was so nice. Definitely would book again and loved our first family OBX week here!

Summary: A nice place and great value. Easy walk to the beach with nice surrounding amenities. We also liked that it had character but with minimal "knick-knacks" and no carpet. We enjoyed our getaway at Kelly's Beach Retreat! The only minor thing that caught us was that it lists the place as 4 full baths, but it is really 3 full baths with an outdoor shower. That may be a VRBO thing because when we looked closer, it breaks it out that way, but I didn't look at the details of the bathrooms until we arrived. Not a deal breaker but just something to keep in mind. On the plus side, having an outdoor shower with hot water was really handy to rinse off each day after returning from the beach. Overall a lovely bright, relaxing house with plenty of deck space, common areas, a good kitchen for meal prep, and decent-sized rooms. We would come back!

Summary: This property was everything we'd hoped it would be, and a wonderful space for cousins to reconnect after several covid years apart. What we loved the most were the communal spaces that were so welcoming for family chats and dinners. The walk to the beach was short and easy and the space was spotless when we arrived.
