Summary: We enjoyed the home - small but sweet kitchen, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, not crowded with 6 of us - even with one washroom. We also found it very nice to walk the nearby trails by the water! It was quite a drive into Halifax and other sites, but a pleasant drive both ways.

Summary: We arrived at the Misty Boat Cottage and the place was even better than the pictures. The inside of the cottage is lovely and very well kept, and the outside is so spacious and relaxing. We faced Porters lake and just down the road (15min walk) was Lawrencetown beach. It’s so close to the ocean, we could hear the waves crashing on the beach from the cottage each morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This charming cottage was just perfect for our stay in Nova Scotia. It is so comfortable, clean and well appointed. There was a great beach just at the end of the road and the deck with its view of the lake was a great place to just sit and relax.

Summary: First time staying at a Vrbo and this place met the highest expectations. Beautifully updated and very clean, relaxing by the water. It was perfect for myself and my daughter to stay for a few nights after her knee surgery. Just wished I was able to have more time here as I didn’t get a chance to walk on the beaches as I was fairly busy being nursemaid. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to stay again in the future! Jeanne was great at accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Thanks again!

Summary: Cottage was very nice…it’s too bad we we’re not told about the hot water issue!! The water was very very stinky…had to take cold showers because the smell was awful!! Wash dishes the first night and the smell stayed in cottage for a long time.
