Summary: Our family had a great long weekend at this lovely house near the Delaware. It was very well appointed for an active family, and had a great blend of privacy/peace as well as access to activities. We hope to return soon!

Summary: This property was better than advertised! A beautifully and lovingly restored farmhouse in a gorgeous setting, only a stone's throw from the upper Delaware river. I could feel my heartrate drop the second we entered. Ayelet and Eric have clearly poured their love into this place with gorgeous and fun artwork in every nook, an amazing kitchen/dining area for those who love to cook and eat with friends, and a dreamy screened in sunporch. The kitchen had everything we needed and things we didn't know we needed but appreciated. The bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed and our hosts went out of their way to make sure we stayed cool and comfortable with AC units in each of them on an unusually hot, sweltering weekend. The communication from booking to check out was easy and Ayelet went above and beyond with house instructions and an excellent list of things to do, right down to cheese and yogurt recommendations from the local farmers' market (how did she know that cheese speaks to me...). Our group of 6 adults had an amazing time and I would re-book this property without a second thought. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Summary: Property was exactly as listed. Pictures did not do it justice. We had an amazing family getaway. From start to finish everything went smooth. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We hope to return again in the fall. The Bottle of wine waiting when we arrive was a very nice gesture. Summary: A beautiful farmhouse in a beautiful setting. The house was spectacularly clean and comfortable, good furniture and comfortable beds and linens. Loved the large spacious kitchen, huge island, and well appointed with everything one could want or need. The house had plenty of room for a family of six adults, welcomes pets, and yet retains a homey vibe. Interesting artwork, plenty of space for puzzles, games, conversation, playing music, sharing meals, and quiet corners for reading. We enjoyed our extended weekend over New Year’s, and can’t wait to come back in warmer seasons to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces and screened in patio, as well as the beautiful scenery. Hosts were very attentive and but not interested; kind and thoughtful.

Summary: Ayelet and Eric's Farmhouse by the Delaware is simply beautiful. We all feel fortunate to have stayed at their gorgeously decorated and welcoming home. The farmhouse has a notably comforting vibe, felt the moment you first step through the door! As the other guests have written here: the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and very pleasant to cook and socialize in; the bathrooms are wonderful and clean; and the beds and linens are very comfortable and cozy. The Pond Eddy area is also wonderful—too much to see and do in even a week—and provides something for everyone, no matter your tastes and interests! The hosts were a dream to correspond with too. Ayelet helped us to find everything we needed (food and entertainment!) for a perfect Thanksgiving, away from home. Thank you Ayelet and Eric!

Summary: The kitchen really had everything we needed. The entire place was very comfortable, bed linens cozy. The property was very nice. I need to go back to enjoy the things at the home and in the area we could not do in one weekend. We went for the river, hikes and local shopping this summer, but I would love to sit in front of the fireplace this winter. The home is much larger than I expected…I did not look at the square footage and knew the number of bedrooms but was very pleased with the various seating spaces on the first floor.

Summary: This property is exactly as advertised...beautiful, interesting and, most importantly, VERY clean. It has been lovingly restored by the owners and decorated beautifully...gorgeous floors, interesting art, and a magnificent (and huge) kitchen and dining area. You can feel the care and love they have for the property. The owners, Ayelet and Eric, truly want you to have a great experience here. They were extremely communicative and checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was OK. From booking to checking out, they were sensational hosts in every way. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll ever need. They get big props from us for the nicely seasoned cast iron pans and the pantry stocked with every spice imaginable. Every one of the beds is comfortable (a rarity in a vacation rental) and the linens are high quality. The bathrooms are updated, spacious and clean. Staying here is more like house sitting for a friend (one with with really great taste) than having a vacation rental! Everything was top notch. Thanks, Eric and Ayelet! We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this great house. Some tips for visitors: Visit the Woodstock site at Bethel Woods (outstanding experience and a really great museum...watch the videos!); take a raft ride on the river (we used Indian Head); and if you love a dive bar, check out Rohman's Pub in nearby Shohola (it's on the National Historic Registry and it has a set-your-own pins vintage bowling alley upstairs with a great jukebox).

Summary: The love Ayelet and Eric, the owners, have for their farmhouse is obvious. For example, its original charm remains in the beams in the living room ceiling and its wide plank floors, and also in its charming decor, including the hefty, tall antique kitchen table surrounded by stools. You can sit there for coffee and see the surrounding green through the kitchen window. Three people can easily prep food at that table, while others might sip a drink in the dining room that the kitchen opens directly on to. And you don't need to buy condiments as the owners have everything from tumeric and ginger to cayenne pepper, not to mention a full array of cooking equipment, dishes and glasses. We grilled and watched deer, some quite young, nibble the grass. We also spotted bunnies near the lovely plantings surrounding the house. We took a memorable 3-mile canoe trip down the Delaware that was run by Indian Head. Ayelet and Eric responded immediately to any questions we had. From our first hour, we felt completely at home in their appealing farmhouse and on the lovely property. We'd love to return.
