Just 2 hours away from NYC, the lodge is the perfect, creek side getaway. The property is just under 2 acres and neighbors a wildlife preserve. The whole home has been lovingly decorated to resemble a Swiss Alps mountain house. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

GREAT ROOM
Decorated with mountain lodge furniture and comfy couches in front of the custom built fireplace, lovingly constructed from stones harvested straight from the property's creek! Our large QLED lSamsung Smart Tv, sound-bar and blu ray player is perfect for movie nights. We have several streaming services connected for your use.
KITCHEN Fully stocked with spices, oils, pots and pans and other key cooking tools, this is a kitchen for guests who LOVE to cook. Farmhouse sink, beautiful appliances, gas stove, an instapot, blender, a toaster, coffee maker, waffle-maker and dishwasher are yours to use. Coffee and tea is also available for you to enjoy. Water throughout the house is triple filtered and safe to drink.
BEDROOMS The bedrooms feature a king (primary) with a full bath ensuite, and 2 queens respectively. They are Nectar memory foam mattresses with 100% goose down comforters.
BATHROOMS The main bathroom is gorgeous and spacious with a walk-in rainshower with dual shower heads and a jetted tub for replenishing baths. The vessel sink is made from petrified wood found on the property and estimated to be 100 years old. Primary bedroom has a full bathroom with a similar shower stall. It also includes a rainfall shower head and hand-held shower.
DECK Large, Adirondack styled wrap around porch with comfy and rustic furniture. Start your morning sipping coffee here and reading a book while listening to the sound of the creek. We have a large propane BBQ grill at your service comfy patio furniture to dine outside on. Outdoor shower, sink and outdoor fridge are not available during the winter.
HOTUB Our enormous luxury hot tub will bring you to new depths of refreshment. Protected by our screened in porch, evening dips here are delightful when lit by the Spin-a-fire fireplace by it. You'd think you were in a mountain lodge in the Swiss Alps!
OUTDOORS In the full spread of spring, summer and most of the fall you will feel wonderfully secluded in the foresty glen that surrounds our home by the creek. To the left of the creek you will find carefully placed stone steps to sit by. Further down, you will find a beautiful stone slate rock formation that welcomes you to a magical small hiking trail right on the property by the creek.
There is an additional 3 acres to explore down by our creek.
We do not live in the area but local help is available should emergencies arise. We respond to all calls and messages. You will need a car to get around.

Summary: This cabin has everything you could want; a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms with great beds, a hot tub, plenty of wood for the stone fireplace, rocking chairs, and the sound of the nearby creek. Wonderful owners who are very responsive. Highly recommended.

Summary: The house is so pretty and clean . Went on a girls trip. Had loads of fun. The location is amazing and exactly like how it’s described in the pictures . The hosts were super helpful and very prompt in responding. Very much enjoyed the walk near the stream and jacuzzi with fire place !! Will definetly visit again!

Summary: It's rare to find a rental where I didn't have to sacrafice on anything. But here it is -- just exactly what I wanted. ☑ Hot Tub ☑ Comfortable beds ☑ Great host ☑ Beautiful Home ☑ Enormous Kitchen ☑ Real fire place (two, if you count the whirl-a-fire by the hot tub) Not only did it have everything I wanted, it had way more too. I went to the house planning to cook quite a bit, and brought a ton of items I assumed wouldn't in most kitchens. Nearly all of them were! Pie tins, a kitchen aid stand mixer, even bowl covers for proofing bread! And beyond the cooking side, the house also had a wide variety of board/card games and even some video game consoles. If you book here, and you should, keep an eye out for the rainbow cabinet. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

Summary: Amazing property! It may be the best equipped house and nicely appointed property I've stayed in over 25 years booking through VRBO (that's at least 3 houses per year). The kitchen has everything and more. Leslie was by far the most responsive host I've interacted with whenever we had questions. Such a beautiful setting along Mill Creek. Highly recommended!!!

Summary: What an amazing cabin this is! Very clean and kitchen had everything stocked for cooking lots of delicious meals. The host Leslie couldn’t have been more accommodating and answered any questions I had during my stay. The sounds of the stream and wind chimes were so relaxing. I will be back to enjoy this beautiful spot again!

Summary: Excellent quality! It was very convenient to have the bedding and towels included. We could not fault anything in the house. The hot tub was fantastic. Loved the waterfall feature. There was great hiking within an hour of the property, nice restaurants and places to explore.
