Positive: My family and I (my wife, our 4-year-old child, and I) recently spent two wonderful days at Fireside Lodge in South Lake Tahoe, and I can’t say enough good things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the terrific decoration and attention to every detail in the cabin. The cozy cabin made it feel like a true home, perfectly blending with rustic charm. The kindness shown to my family was exceptional. The employees and the family who run the lodge greeted us with such warmth and made us feel so welcome. They were always available to assist with anything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it truly made a difference. One of the highlights for our little one was playing with their lovely dogs. The staff took such great care to make sure our child was safe and happy while interacting with the pups—it was a joy to see! And the breakfast? Hands down, the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a lodge. Delicious, hearty, it was the perfect start to our days exploring South Lake Tahoe. Fireside Lodge is a gem, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot with incredible hospitality, look no further—thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable!

Positive: A very cozy pet friendly stay with awesome staff and cool amenities. There’s not much to do around the area but it’s great if you want the peacefulness of the wilderness. Close enough to drive to places but still tucked off from all the chaos of Stateline. Will def be back!
