3 Bedroom House in Corea

Our recently updated,family home is located in Corea, a small friendly fishing village located in downeast Maine. We are about 45-60 minutes, by car, to Bar Harbor. We are about 5 minutes to Schoodic National Park, in Winter Harbor. Which is a part of Acadia National Park.
We can accommodate up to 9 guests. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, one of the upstairs bedrooms also has a queen bed and the other upstairs bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds; 1 is a twin over a full size bed and the other is a twin over a twin. There is a full bathroom downstairs and a half bath upstairs.
Our home comes equipped with a full sized refrigerator, an electric stove, a microwave, a coffee pot, linens, towels, dishes, utensils, wi-fi, a smart tv with netflix.
On our deck we have a propane grill and a patio set with a propane fire pit coffee table and a large yard great for outdoor entertaining.
You can buy fresh, local lobster a mile away at Corea Lobster Co-Op or you can enjoy Lunch on the Wharf at Corea 1/2 mile away. Some other local dining options are ‘The Pickled Wrinkle’ in Birch Harbor and ‘Gerrishes’ located in Winter Harbor.
We are only about 10 minutes from Winter Harbor where you can enjoy the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park or take the Ferry for a day trip to Bar Harbor.
Local activities include hiking, biking, fishing, boating, kayaking and beach combing. There is also a golf course in Winter Harbor and Sorrento.
This place is a cozy little retreat where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the life of a little fishing village in Corea.

Summary: We feel like we won the lottery! This place was exactly as portrayed and exactly what we wanted. Cozy, comfortable, relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedding was comfortable. We enjoyed walking the quiet streets of Corea and meeting neighbors. The locals we met were pleasant, helpful and willing to share their stories of life in the area. We had need to contact the owner once and she was very responsive to our situation. IF we ever have the opportunity to travel to the area again, we will definitely be looking to book this wonderful gem.

Summary: This was my first Vrbo or any house rental stay, I am hooked. This place was beyond my expectations. Clean, Cute and Comfortable. The inside was setup wonderfully, Had pod coffee pods awaiting us. the porch was wonderful and the furniture on it was so comfy. this location is right up the street from the Warf and a restaurant where I had...of course a 2+ pound lobster on the harbor. I would defiantly stay here again IF up in the area

Summary: Check in process was easy, the host responsive, the home very clean. We were a party of 4 and there was room for at least 4 more. The outdoor space was more than expected. We were there to give my mother a chance to reconnect to the place she grew up in and hasn't been back to in a long time. The village is lovely, the people friendly. The perfect place for peace and quiet.

Summary: We stayed in the summer and, while the interior spaces are beautiful and cozy, we spent most of it time at the house on the spectacular wrap around porch. Why eat in a restaurant when you have Corea harbor, singing birds, a beautiful garden and warm Maine sunshine to enjoy outside? Colt nights were also spent outside by the fire pit. We could not ask for a better place to spend some time with family. Thank you so much!!

Summary: Comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood away from noisy tourist areas. Plan on driving to do any sight seeing. Bar Harbor is approx an hour away via car due to traffic and speed limits. A ferry runs from a neighboring town for $20 one way.

Summary: We couldn't be happier with our stay. The house was just as described and Pamela thought of every detail to make our stay more comfortable. The town is quaint and yet close to enough to outdoor activities and restaurants. Pamela was responsive and accommodating every step of the way. I honestly can't think of one thing I would change.
