Just a few miles from Battlefield Harley! Only about a 1/2 hr from Ski Liberty! Located right on the battlefield in Gettysburg, PA! Come and enjoy the beautiful Adams County!
Charming farmhouse built in the early 1900's.
Sleeps 8-10. This 3 bedroom farmhouse is all you need for a nice private, relaxing getaway in Gettysburg, PA.
Blue Room- 1 Queen Bed
Flower Room- 2 Double Beds
Yellow Room- 1 Queen Bed
Living Room- 1 queen sleeper sofa
Kitchen is fully functional with dishes, pots/pans, baking sheets, silverware, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Coffee maker, crock pot, and blender.
Window unit air conditioning provided as well as cable, DVD player and TV. Books, games, and DVDs also available to borrow during your stay. We currently do not have wifi.- but take this time to enjoy the fresh air and rural scenery of our property and the battlefield.
Guests may enjoy our 'catch & release' pond and paddle boat, as well as cookouts on our charcoal grill.
Sheets are provided for the beds, however, we ask that you bring your own towels, toiletries, and food items.

Located practically right on East Calvary Field, (actually 2 of our fields was part of the battlefield location) Gettysburg, PA. Guests can enjoy 40 private acres of Adams County countryside. Enjoy Catch and Release Fishing in our pond and take nature walks. The house is located only approx. 5 miles from the square in Gettysburg. And only minutes from Rt. 30, Rt 116 Rt 97 and Rt 15, which provides easy access to all areas of town! Nearby grocery stores and outlets, as well as restaurants and pubs. Also several local wineries! Gettysburg has tons to offer in entertainment! From live theater shows to ghost tours, miniature golf and large scale golf!

Summary: We gifted my father in law a trip to Gettysburg for his 80th birthday. And being a Huge civil war buff this house was the perfect place to stay. Right on the battlefields. A pond for fishing (which everyone loved) and a farm style house that was homey and quiet. It was a close enough drive to everywhere we needed to go but far enough away. The host was extremely responsive when I had questions prior to the visit. Everything was great and the house was perfect! If we ever come back, this is definitely where we want to stay! Thank you so much!!

Summary: Our family of seven stayed Fri-Sat in Sept 2024 and enjoyed this property and grounds. It's conveniently located just minutes from many attractions in Gettysburg, many dining options, retail options, grocery, etc.....but you wouldn't know it, it's beautifully peaceful! My kids (age 9-19) enjoyed paddling around the pond and fishing (no catches, but they had fun). The pond does have duck weed, but our ponds at home do as well and know how difficult it can be to treat and maintain. It didn't impact our stay at all. The screened covered porch was were we hung out after a busy day of tours and sightseeing. Great for playing the games they have at the house and quiet reading. We would recommend this property if you appreciate some space to stretch out and some quiet after a busy day taking in historic Gettysburg.

Summary: We came for a short weekend getaway with our daughters. I worked nicely for a central location for everyone. The property had plenty of room and activities for all to choose from. We took daily walks to the neighboring battle fields. And when we were ready to head into Gettysburg it was a quick 6 minute trip. And many of the other attractions were also only 5 to 20 minutes away. Great place to stay if you like that little bit of privacy, and appreciate the charm of older homes.

Summary: Very peaceful and worth the money to stay here. Old farmhouse and a few things are expected with that. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. It was a great day!

Summary: The property has great potential. It is nice but it lacks the details to make it great. Things like washing the windows, exterminating the ants, and providing sufficient containers for the trash would greatly improve the experience! Also I would suggest that they add internet to the home... With all that said it is a wonderful home with a great location!

Summary: The property was amazing with the pond , fire pit and plenty of yard for the kids to play. The fishing was great, caught plenty of fish. The house was large and full of rustic charm and history.

Summary: The house was charming and quirky and filled with character. We all fell in love with it! The bedrooms were spacious and the living space was great. We loved that the dining table had room for all 8 of us. The grounds were beautiful and the kids loved catching fish, roasting marshmallows and playing on the swing. The location was so convenient but away from the crowds. The host responded to our questions and needs promptly. We had a great stay!
