2 Bedroom House in Foggy Bottom, Washington

Great Location - only two blocks from the Foggy Bottom metro stop. We are walking distance to The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts (free performances - 6pm daily at Millennium Stage), Museums, 'The Mall', The White House is eight blocks east of the home, Groceries, George Washington University & Hospital, Historic Georgetown with all its shopping and restaurants, Georgetown Harbor on the Potomac River (spectacular views from restaurant patios and park), Dupont Circle, West End, State Department, Embassies, movie theaters and Downtown. Easy to access by car.
Enjoy and relax in our beautifully renovated townhouse with 2 Bedrooms, Den, 2 full bathrooms. Bedrooms are furnished two queen and one twin bed (room for air mattress if needed), linens and towels, etc. We also have a Pack n' Play for the younger guests.
The home has large windows and two big skylights. Main floor- open layouts with living room, dinning room & full bathroom. French doors off the dinning room lead to the first stone patio in this very private garden area. Walk further to the second stone patio with views of the Watergate and beyond.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with small appliances and utensils, top of the line appliances, granite countertops, lots of windows and tile floor. Bathrooms have been remodeled with tumbled marble and tile. Central air and heat, dishwasher, full size washer/dryer are all included. Hardwood floors throughout.
We are located on a quiet street with a big sloping front yard garden and large backyard garden with two stone patios & grill. The home is a non smoking environment. Stay connected while vacationing or working with Cable TV and WiFi internet service. Parking is available upon request.

Summary: Great, classic townhome in a great area of DC. Easy walk to monuments, museums and Georgetown. Great owner to work with - always available and easy to get into contact with. Great communication in the days leading up to our stay. Would gladly stay here again during our next trip to DC.

Summary: Located in a fairly quiet neighborhood (airport is nearby, but travel noise usually subsides after 1130pm and a major hospital is a few blocks away) Foggy Bottom Metro station and Whole Foods are a quick walk from the rental. Taxi/Uber is expensive compared to the Metro and it has many convenient locations to area attractions. Make sure you have good walking shoes since there is a lot of walking involved. The rental is perfect for a couple, small family, or 2-3 friends. Downstairs bathroom is small, but doable for 1 person. The stairs may be an issue for people with limited mobility. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there are a few staple pantry items. We did not use AC/Heat except our last day (weather changes from day to day) and the thermostat is a NEST. We suggest that if you can make online reservations for some of the attractions (Washington Monument, Capitol, etc..) prior to visiting, it is much easier than standing in line early in the morning. DC is a highly secure area and many security checks. Bring as little as possible to be sure you will be able to enter, they are more strict than TSA. DC is an amazing place with so much to do and the history of our country is in the heart of it all!

Summary: Very pretty, well decorated townhouse in great location. Very close to a metro stop and only a few stops from the mall and other sights. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of towels. Trader Joe's is 2 long blocks away. The only negative for us was there were limited restaurants available nearby. We got around that by eating near the mall which had lots of restaurants so it wasn't that important. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Stayed for days in Foggy Bottom and it was great. Positioned just a short walk from the Metro so very easy to get around without a car. The apartment was clean and tidy and our host was always available if required. Had no real problems.Recommend it for any Washington stay.

Summary: Our family of four (plus a dog) vacationed at Diana's place for 6 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The home was super clean, comfortable, well decorated and in a superb location. We were able to walk to all the DC sights and when we got tired of walking we rented bikes from the Capital Bikeshare (just around the corner from the home). As noted by many reviewers, the close proximity of WholeFoods and Trader Joes was also amazingly helpful. I highly recommend this place and will be looking to rent here again the next time I visit DC.

Summary: Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in Foggy Bottom and Diana was very easy to deal with throughout. The property was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. But whatvstood out was the location. 5 min walk to the Metro, 15 min walk to Georgetown and 15 min walk to the Lincoln Memorial.
