Summary: Nice place. Older but in good shape. There were some areas of the kitchenette that needed deep cleaning but it was nice to have a fridge and sink for sure. The street was adorable with the row houses and I appreciated the valet parking (even if it was expensive).

Summary: All of the staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming and fun! Stay was 2 adults, 2 kids. Nice to have a full fridge and kitchenette for leftovers on our 5 day adventure. Nice, quiet neighborhood but still just 2 blocks from the train. Will stay here again!

Summary: Parking was the main problem they asked $55 for parking and tiny refrigerator bathroom door doesn’t shut in a little hallway put bunk beds.

Summary: Staff is extremely friendly. Fitness Center max occupancy is 3 and there is only room for 2. Dog was barking for 1.5 hours above me. Everything else was great.

Summary: Staying at the River Inn feels like home. From the moment of arrival through departure, the staff is friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in guests having a great experience. Room was clean and had great amenities. It was very quiet despite the hotel being at full capacity and the location is perfect - walking distance to downtown, Georgetown, the metro, Kennedy Center, etc.

Summary: The hotel was old. The floor in our room was so dirty that within minutes of walking around our white socks were black. The TVs only worked half the time even after someone came to fix it. The outlet where the refrigerator was plugged in kept coming off the wall and we ended up having to throw away all of the food we had in the refrigerator. Plus there was no heat during 50-60 degree weather. They did provide space heaters. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff who were all courteous and accommodating.

Summary: Great classy boutique-type hotel in a great area but without the high rate. It's DC, so it is higher than across the river in Virginia, but can't beat the location. Great location, close to restaurants, stores, monuments, etc, also the Potomac and Georgetown. My room had a kitchenette, so I walked two blocks to Trader Joe's for stuff, kitchenette has just about everything you need to cook, but mine has just two sets of stuff Front desk was great, doorman great too. They have bikes you can check out for no charge (depending on avail). I tried the small restaurant for breakfast, a bit pricey (10% more than those a 5 minute walk away) but great for breakfast before heading to airport. Hotel also just three short blocks to Foggy Bottom Metro station. Highly recommend.
