Positive: The property is exceptional! The decorations and facilities are of a high standard. Lovely location for Castle Combe and surrounding areas.
Negative: The door and electric lock were a bit tricky but a quick phone call to learn the trick was all that was needed!

Positive: The location was amazing.
Negative: It had a horrible damp smell as soon as you walked in. There seemed to be an infestation of wood louse. The garden came on the Wednesday of our stay unannounced and we had left valuable items in the cottage so we were unhappy about that. We actually left a day early because I couldn’t stand the smell any longer.
Summary: Very disappointing as we were really looking forward to it

Positive: Quirky cottage, lovely bright welcoming kitchen, well fitted with lots of cook wear, crockery and glasses. Tidy garden where you can enjoy eating outside. Bedrooms were nicely decorated with attractive soft furnishings. Beds were comfortable. Living room had plenty seating, a good TV and was a relaxing space. Bathrooms small but nicely done. Location was perfect, short walk downhill into the village. Parking was fine.
Negative: Very hot in the bedroom on the top floor and the beam running across the room wasn't ideal but nothing anyone could about it.

Positive: I like everything about The area,, the environment, the super clean cottage, the garden, my two grandchildren really love the garden one age 5 and the 2nd child was 2+ I went to Swindon , I had a lot of fun , we all enjoyed ourselves and hope to visit again soon.
Negative: Excellent place to spend time with family amd friends.. is a nice place to stay. Thank you

Positive: Lovely quaint old cottage updated for modern comfort. Short walk into town with a few eating pubs and a coffee/tea place. Plenty of hiking trails for our three day stay. The cottage provided for tea and coffee so we didn’t have to find a grocery store right away. On that note, the nearest grocery was about a ten minute drive to another town.
Negative: I love the history of the old cottages and am more than willing to put up with a bit of awkwardness in layout. A bathroom on the second floor would have been nice, but those spiral stairs are quite cute. Also the parking is fine down the street a bit but of course would be nice if right in front of.
Summary: I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes a charming old cottage.
