Located around the corner from Pistakee and Nippersink Lakes awaits a piece of tranquility. Our lake house sits on 3 adjoining properties along Nippersink Channel on the Chain O' Lakes in Northern Illinois. The property is semi-wooded on a main road near plenty of shopping. Fish merely feet from the back door. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching deer drink from the water. The channel is relatively low traffic, inviting geese, ducks, turtles, cranes, and more. The lake house has 2 bedrooms and 1 luxury bathroom. Enjoy a walk in custom shower w/ bench and body sprayers. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a 42" flat screen TV. There is drawer and hanging space available. The second bedroom has hanging space. There is a twin bed and a set of bunk beds (twin on top, full on bottom). 32" TV equipt with a firestick which has Netflix, Amazon, and Disney +.The living room has a large sectional which can sleep 2, along with a 47" TV, complete with surround sound, DVD player, PS3, and Nintendo WII. Cook a meal in our fully functional kitchen with coffee station, toaster oven, blender, etc. Condiments, coffee, spices provided. Dining space looks out to the water and can seat 6 people. Washer and dryer available with laundry supplies. Shoot a game of pool or darts in the garage. All we ask is that you respect our belongings as this was our home until a family emergency and we have left the kitchen, bathroom, and most of everything fully stocked and ready to go! Both adjoining lots are very large, complete with a fire pit, fire table, and charcoal grill. Popular area for ice fishing and snow mobiles in winter. Code provided to electronic lock. Please note, you are renting a house that is by woods and water, although we treat for bugs, it is impossible to prevent them 100%. My brother does have his boat docked on a side lot and may access it from the side lot. I have a lot of inquires about swimming and having boats/water accessories. We do not offer anything to use on the water, please understand that it is a huge insurance liability issue! There are rentals right around the corner from us and trips offered for tubing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking. Just let me know and I can provide the info! Summary: Nice house with all the amenities we were looking for. The bathroom is very nice. We are older and the living room furniture was very low—great internet, washer, and dryer nice. We had no real issues.

Summary: Clean…well appointed. Brought my 80yo father for a father/son weekend…perfectly set up for him and his walker for fishing right out the back door! Will definitely stay again! Communication with property owner was quick and responsive!

Summary: The property was in close proximity for a weekend getaway from Chicago and close to the Wilmot ski area. The property was in good condition, clean, and fully stocked with amenities needed. The only request would be to disclose that there had been pets prior in the house as I am allergic and had a reaction.

Summary: Loved having morning coffee and evening wine out back by water and trees. Enjoyed a fire in the firepit. Quite a bit of traffic noise and still very relaxing. Saw deer, geese, lots of birds, heard coyotes(?) at nite. Very clean, comfortable home. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom. Close to nature and shops and restaurants.

Summary: Took a short trip with friends to enjoy some time away from our busy schedules. This place was just what we needed. It was comfy and the view from the back deck was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and doing some fishing just steps from the back door then ending our night with a game of pool and darts. We really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was and the bathroom had just about anything you needed. I would definitely recommend this home, it’s beautiful and the host was super responsive with any questions we had it was a lovely experience. Thanks!
