Positive: Where do I start? The exquisite accommodations are exceeded only by the warmth and friendliness of hosts N.J. and Michael. The property is historic and dates to 1873. Michael and N.J. have created not only a very comfortable and inviting space for their visitors, but one of modern elegance juxtaposed in an early Victorian mansion. And just when we thought it could not get any better, N.J. would not let us leave without a warm and sincere hug goodbye. We stayed here because there is a thriving professional theater just a five-minute drive down the road. Make this a destination ....
Negative: I have to think about this one. Hmmm .... well, nothing could have made it better. We liked it that much.
Summary: We stayed at the Adams Family mansion run by two people who love their home very much ....

Positive: This is a really beautiful property! The hosts offered a very warm welcome and the bed was very comfortable.
Negative: Some of the facilities were not very intuitive which meant an extensive tour was needed on arrival. The hosts were very present during the stay. From the listing I expected this to be a boutique hotel or b&b, but it’s actually a room in someone’s private home.

Positive: Enjoyed a warm welcome from the charming hosts in this beautifully restored, exceptionally well-furnished, clean and calm home. After a long day on the road, I especially appreciated a long hot soak in the ofuro / soaking tub, a sound sleep and the fresh clean air. There are some great-sounding restaurants in the area, and no shortage of sights in the surrounding rural areas and small towns, but unfortunately my stay was too brief to try any of them. Decor is a thoughtful & successful mix of quality modern pieces within the Victorian setting. Hope to return.

Positive: I loved the architecture. 10 foot high doors, high ceilings remarkable doorknobs and beautiful molding. The hosts were extremely polite and helpful. If I was visiting the area again I would rent again in a heartbeat.
