Positive: Four of us shared the house for a weekend. It is beautiful and spacious with four bathrooms. As long as you don't mind sharing beds, 6 people will easily fit here. The hot tub was a fantastic addition. The room with the telescope is not air conditioned, but we had enough other things to do that we didn't use it. It is approximately a 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. There is plenty of on-site parking
Negative: Trying to find out if they had early check in was tedious. I tried contacting the owners through Vacasa, the app they made me download to stay here, and despite them saying they were the owners of both the property and the app, they couldn't give me a straight answer until the day of. I was trying to check in less than an hour early. I would have understood if they were not the owners and had to check with them, but if you own something, I would expect that you know all of the rules of your own property. (In the end traffic at the IL/IN border made it so it didn't matter anyway.)
Summary: Expensive, but well worth it.
